Southend Hostel Bremen Reviews

The hostel is located a short walk from the central station, reasonably priced, and the 3-bed room I stayed in was clean and spacious.

There is no wifi in the rooms, there is just in the first floor. The Office closed fifteen minutes after we arrived there (7.30 pm) and opened again the next morning around 9: during the night nobody was there! The breakfast was really poor. However, the room was really clean amd nice and with the bathroom inside, and the place is really close to the center!

My stay at Southend Hostel was good overall, however, when I arrived the receptionist was smoking in the reception! That was unacceptable, all hostel stunk as smoke, all my clothing, everything!

The owners work as they are doing us a favor, with mad faces .They charge for the towels ad also for the bed sheet, which aren't included. There's no Internet. There's only an old computer in the "lounge area", in which the Internet doens't work. They also have a huge dog, mad face like them, which is always in the "Buero". The room was in poor conditions regarding the cleaning. I've never seen so many dust in a lampshade before. The bathroom was apparently clean, but slightly smelling sewer.

The location was good and it was wonderful that the hostel had lockers and a Klix coffee machine. The staff was a bit rude though and never in the office during the office hours.
