Really enjoyed my stay there, well worth the money, the staff were excellent - very friendly and chatty. The only down side is that the dorm room I stayed in didn't have lockers. Even so, I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Weihai.

I had a very nice stay at Soye Hostel. Friendly staff (better if you speak chinese!) and clean rooms. Definitely will stay again if I come back to Weihai!

An absolute gem in downtown Weihai, near the port and ferries. Room with 4-poster dooble bed with en suite for just 100 yuan/night. Friendly staff and customers in the bar. Billiards in the establishment, and free wifi. The staff even gave me whisky, beer and nuts for free, and reduced-price ticket to go to Li Gong Island tourist resort, with all its museums. This palce is too good to be true. Only slight gripe. No hot water one morning, but it was back in the evening. Best to speak Chinese.
