Fantastic Hostel. Best Hostel I've ever stayed in. Very impressed with the rooftop lounge, cinema, and lounge areas. Bathrooms were individual with key card access. Hard to find one empty sometimes at night, and were the only places that were dirty. Shower isn't separate from toilet so the floor is soaking wet constantly. Elevator on the brink of collapse. The "No noise" policy is NOT enforced by the staff. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to everyone in Melb!

The room itself was clean and neat, but we were positioned right next to the security door for that level of the building and people walked through it all day and all night. The door to our room was a little loose which meant that every time the security door closed our room door rattled LOUDLY. We could not get a single night's sleep. Add to this the random noises made by the air conditining, exposed sewage pipe NOISE and bad pillows, and we were not impressed by this >$100/night nightmare.

Calling this place a hotel is misleading, it is a hostel, so I think that changes your expectations. Its been recently renovated so things looked new, but our room was tiny and the shared facilities were usually in pretty average shape by the morning, but fine once the cleaners come in. The location was great, very convenient and the roof terrace is lovely.

Great place to stay. Great facilities to use and the rooftop area is fantastic with a fab view. Bar area is a good size with friendly staff. The only downside would be not being able to use the kitchen in the early hour of the morning (3am) so there was no where to eat the food you had brought in.

Lovely place to stay, very clean and lots of facilities that you don't get at a normal hostel. Has a bar downstairs with cheap drinks and cheap food as well. Will stay there again next time im in town!

great location, helpful staff, great facilities, however as a lone traveller I found that no body seemed to talk to anyone else, I was only staying two nights but if i was staying longer I would have felt lonely. I would stay there again but if you are on your own it wasn't very friendly.

It's noisy at night because of some guests making noise talking, laughing in the hallway.

Awesome place to stay at very secure and the beds are the most stable and non creaky I have been on in a hostel! The kitchen is nice and big as well so plenty of room to cook and not get in other people's way, the cleaners could do a better job tho the bathrooms are usually dirty and I have been in the 6 dorm room for nearly a week now and haven't seen anyone clean it yet it would only take 5 minutes to sweep the floor! Apart from that I highly recommend this place

This hostel has to be the best hostel I have ever stayed in by far. The facilities are amazing, such as the 'movie space' which is like a mini theatre. And in the dorms each bunk has its own shelf, light, and plug sockets which are very handy. The bunks and actresses are also very good quality. The hostel is very very clean and you see the staff cleaning a lot, even the kitchen cleaning up any mess from people cooking. I would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it.

Rates for the internet could have been cheaper. Plus, information on why the alarm broke out in the middle of the night would have been good.

Very good hostel - Good location, friendly helpful staff, excellent facilities. My only complaint - the bathrooms - they were absolutely filthy (I stayed a whole week, showering twice daily and I never saw any of the bathrooms properly clean, not once).

Bit sterile, too much "Star Trek like"... but overall ok.

Pros: Clean, huge lockers, great kitchen and terrace. Cons: Way too expensive :/ Small bathrooms and not enough space for your toiletries

What a great place. Just renovated the Space is super. Lovely private rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, a great rooftop area and bar with good priced drinks and food are just a few reasons to seek it out. Its very near the free tram ride around the city and easy walking to cenral parts like Chinatown. Impossoble to find fault.
