Spanish by the Sea Reviews

Hostel was nice and clean, really close to the main street, good kitchen. My only complaint is that i lost my $10 key deposit, even though manager promised to be there by 7 am to check out and give me the money, i waited for 30 minutes and he never showed up and i was running late for my boat.

We enjoyed our stay at Spanish by the Sea. This place would be even better if they fixed the washrooms and finished off the rooms a bit more.

While the dorms are clean and pretty new, the bathrooms are exactly the opposite. Most of the time there were no staff present. That means, I didn`t get ANY helpful information from my hostel. Office hours are not even five hours per day. On the first christmas holiday staff didn`t show up at all, without previous advice. Advice was only given the same day by putting a paper at the office door. Toilet paper was rather the exception than the rule during my whole stay. Cannot recommend it!

I have visited a lot of hostels at Bocas and this was really the greatest Location. There is so much space to relax and the kitchen is very big. It is 3 minutes to walk to the Party Center and one street behind the Mainstreet . So its good quiet and there are not so many people arround the hostel, they are shouting in the night. Comparing to other hostels it is very clean. The girls they are working in the hostel are organized and also funny. I really suggest if you plan to go to Bocas =) Marlon

Spanish by the Sea is a really great place to stay. What I really love is the togetherness of students from all over the world. I met so many nice people in this language school even if i dont participate in the clases. The prices are fair and everyone is very friendly thats why I felt at home instantly. By the way its located in the central of bocas so all the shops and clubs are very close by. Ill come back for sure :)
