The location was really good- close to the bus terminal (to go anywhere in Panama and Panama City), supermarket, and the bus stop for the airport buses is 2minute walk from the hostel. There is a huge fruit and vegetable market really close and some nice walks can be done in the nearby area. Well-equipped kitchen and nice clean rooms (no bunk beds! yay!). The guy who manages the hostel is really friendly and helpful. The only downide is that the hostel has 1 bathroom for ALL the guests.

You get what you paid for works in this situation. It's outside the city so the taxi had a hard time getting to it. There was no AC which made sleeping a bit tough. The staff however was extra nice.

Was very accommodating to our needs as we were arriving very early. Good communication with us through email.

A nice, quiet place to stay. We got a private room and bath for an unbeatable price. The staff are super helpful with everything - especially explaining the public busses, and they provide a bus card to use for your stay based on an honor system. Using the buses saved us a ton of money! Though out of the main city, it's right by a bus stop and close to Casco Viejo, Cerro Ancón, the bus terminal (to get to the canal), etc. The kitchen was much nicer than any other hostel I've stayed at.

Taxi's had trouble finding it, but that was only major downside. Basic, no nonsense hostel with well equipped kitchen and functional rooms. Rob who works there was super helpful. Good value for your money.
