Our stay at spica holiday home was overall a very pleasurable one. The owners are extremly nice elderly people, who help you with a everything you need and prepare you very tasty food if you want. (Best srilankan omlette!!) the room is totally ok for the price and the view from the shared balcony is breathtaking. We would definetely recommend spica to people who are looking for a nice guesthouse for a good price.

We've been travelling now for more than a year and this is the first time we complain. Everything started when we went to FoodCity and bought our own food. We agree them to cooking it, no using kitchen (we don't know why) Next day owner say it was his food and charged extra our own food :D When we try to talk about it, guy totally flipped, started yelling us out of house, say we were uncivilized brutals and refuse listening. Wife and boy where nice but really afraid father. Room was clean.

We (my Girlfriend an I) spend 3 nights at Spica Holiday Home. Its a great place with a fantastic view over the hills. The owners of the Spica are very very friendly. They helped us to plan our trip. Gave us helpful informations and surprised us every mornig with a fantastic typical sri lankan breakfast (also intercontinental breakfast has been available upon request). I warmly recommande the Spica to every one who likes to feel at home in holidays ;)

Run by a vey friendly chap, very helpful. Very good breakfast (not included but worth paying for!) up a steep hill which is tiring, but the view is great as a result. Very quiet - ideal if you are looking for a quet retreat.
