After reading great reviews, I was very disappointed with my 3-night stay. I thought that the rooms and breakfast were over-priced for what you got.

Not quite what we expected. The house was cluttered with furniture and other items, and there was confusion about what room type we had booked, and a subsequent surcharge, which was then repaid the next day. The property is not as nice as the photos suggest. Regarding cleanliness, the waste bin in our room had not been emptied from previous guests.

Very friendly hosts and a nice breakfast (was not included in the room price). I had a great view from my balcony. The room was very clean and well equipped, the only thing I missed sometimes was a TV. All in all I can definitly recommend this place.

Spica was a mixed bag - tough to find as none of the tuk tuk drivers know it, and the driveway is so steep we had to get out and walk when we had our packs or the tuk tuk would not have made it up the hill. The location however was good, an easy 15min walk to Kandy centre. The description said the place was very clean, and the bedroom was great but the bathroom was a bit grubby by western standards. Owners were quite judgmental and unfriendly at times, they made us feel we were strange and rude.

Very friendly staff who made it feel like home. Located about 15 minutes away from the bustling city, it's nice and quite but still very accessible to the city
