overrated and far from the city center, and not worthy the money you paid, the room is just average from my past few years' travel experience, nothing special, need improve the facilities and lower the price and add more staff to improve the service, sorry to tell these things but it is true of our feelings and thoughts.

Really nice place to stay in kandy- up in the hills with a lovely view. Felt really welcome by the lovely family who own it, really friendly and helpful with advice on things to in kandy. Our room was nothing special but you get what you pay for... its fairly clean, got a comfy bed, mosquito net, and a fan.

The place was really lovely- the family welcomes you in, and are so kind and warm. A great place, just a bit far from the city centre

We stayed 2 nights at Spica and consider it as a nice place to stay. We had a warm welcome with a good cup of tea, Mr and Mrs make you feel at home. They also can help you with planning-arranging all kind of things. Spica is not in the center ( 15-20 minutes downhill walking) but we liked to 'come home' in a quiet place. And for coming up hill you just take a tuktuk!

We stated two nights and enjoyed it a lot. Lovely views, quiet and relaxing yet a short walk (15 mins) to central Kandy and a quick tuk-tuk ride back (approx 300 rupies). Very nice place, lovely, clean rooms. Wifi works well. Their home cooking is excellent!! Felt like a real homestay. The owner, mr Tallak, was very helpful and assisted us in booking rides as well as planning excursions.

We enjoyed our stay at this place. A bit outside the center of Kandy. Can be reached within 20min by foot.

This accommodation is set within an attractive, characterful house on a hill overlooking Kandy. The house is up a very steep incline and somewhat out of the way. You will need transport to get into Kandy. I you are happy to be out of the way, the views from the garden are very impressive. The owner is a very knowledeable and well-travelled man. He went to great trouble to cook us an excellent Sri Lanken breakfast even though he had various family members coming and going. Much appreciated!

Very well run family guesthouse. The best thing about this guest house was the host. He organised us the best drivers and we had some of our best days of the trip organised by him. Also makes an excellent cup off tea!

It's a very cozy and homey place. The house owner Tillek is a nice guy, who can help you organize the following trip in Kandy so as to maximize the fun of the trip. If I had a chance to go there again, I would like to stay there again!
