We had a lovely stay at Spica - the owner and his family were delightful and we chatted about his time in the navy. It's a little schlep from the center of town, but an easy tuktuk or about a 25 minute walk into the center of town, a little further from the station and the lake. It's not quite where google thinks it is, but there are easy to follow signs from the main road. Internet was a little patchy but hot water in the showers was quite a treat! Highly recommended, would certainly return

Very nice hosts and good but rather expensive food! Spica holiday home is located outside Kandy (10 minutes by tuktuk), but that was quite nice since Kandy quite hecitic and noisy.

Very friendly couple with a beautiful house, and the best part was the beautiful views from the deck. But I was ultimately turned off by having to pay for a (tiny and ant-covered) breakfast we thought was included, as well as additional booking fees not apparent upon making the original reservation.

I loved this guest house! This beautiful family run B&B is perched on a stunning hill overlooking Kandy. You can walk to the city center in about 15mins. The owners are just the best. They're happy to help with directions and for a few extra dollars, they cook you the most glorious breakfast! I recommend the omelettes. Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Beautiful place to relax, but close to the action as well. Take a tuk tuk back to the house if it's after dark.

We spent a night with the family who just extended themselves and at short notice whipped up a nice meal for us. The place has a view that robs you of your breath. A lovely garden a lovely home, what more is there to write about:)

There is nothing to complain about this accomodation. Its located in a quiet area and the rooms a very bright and nice with balcony. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the lake, tuk tuk is about 300.

Lovely and caring people running a clean and secure place in a top location with a wonderful view.

This family run guesthouse is so wonderful. The family is so nice and very helpful. You can easily walk down town and the family helps you with anything you need. They can also arrange transport.. They make really nice breakfast too. Thanks for a great stay...:)
