Run by a vey friendly chap, very helpful. Very good breakfast (not included but worth paying for!) up a steep hill which is tiring, but the view is great as a result. Very quiet - ideal if you are looking for a quet retreat.

Lovely view lovely people lovely room in a lovely place!!! I would repeat my experience!!

Had a really nice stay at Spica, everything was more than great, really nice owner, great terrace and clean rooms. Location is very good too - very quiet and relaxing in the evening/at night, and Kandy lake is just a short walk away. Can really recommend to stay in Spica.

Breath taking views, great price and lovely peaceful people running it.

Our stay at Spica was great. The owner was very flexible, the room comfortable and clean. He went out of his way to be accommodating giving us plenty of help when required. The location is quiet and easily accessed from the station.

A little bit off the track and not in the center. Its a private house and feels more like a family home than a backpackers hostel. Nice people through.

The Spica Holiday Home was a wonderful place to stay! The family is so welcoming and helpful. They cook delicious food and are very accommodating to everyone. The room was great and the view from the home into Kandy is beautiful.

Sweet older couple that serves excellent food. Better cleaning is needed though. A bit on the expensive side compared to the competition.
