This hostel is amazing. You will not find a place like this anywhere else. The atmosphere is really friendly and the staff are great. Spicy Laos is one of the most unique hostels we have ever stayed in! The staff are great and the layout of the place is amazing (as per previous reviews - it is basically a big tree house!). Its a great place to meet fellow travellers, but can get pretty loud in the evenings. Staying in a tree house style backpackers was a great novelty. Pong was very helpful with all enquiries. Loud at night however all part of the stay I suppose! This is a great place to meet people and share in a really fun atmosphere, but if you need a break from the party can also be relaxing at the same time. Pong, the owner, is a great guy and is always helpful. I would recommend this hostel to anyone going to Vang Veing.
