Pretty Poor. We went next door after the first uncomfortable night and paid half the price and had our own bathroom! Loud fools singing till 3:30 am kept us up after our long bus trip. Just a basic baguette only for breakfast, not so good value after all! Oh, and the cinema room is shut now too!   Read Owner Comments

Decent hostel. Really look after their customers. Can be difficult to sleep in the ground floor dorm because of thin ceiling. But would return.

Friendly staff, helpful, but some of the lockers came off their hinges!! Had to search for a locker that I could shut properly wthout worrying that thedoor could just be lifted off! I actually had one of these lockers initially, and it was only by accident that the door could be lifted off!!! They really need to do something about that.   Read Owner Comments

The staff were great and very helpful (when they could understand you). Great little setting. I meet some amazing people on the boat ride down here and convinced 6 of them to join me at SpicyLaos. They loved everything about the place as well. When I come back to Luang Pha Bang I'll be staying here.

A nice enough hostel. Old colonial building with character. Downside is no commonroom exept the balcony. Windows that can't be closed (in our case the temperture dropped to 5 celcius and I had to use all my clothing to make it through the night.

A nice place to stay in. Very near to the night market. The atmosphere is nice over there to mingle with other ppl. Dorms are neat and clean.

This hostel really deserves its Best Hostel in Laos Award. Best place to meet new backpackers, and the staff is so keen on making your stay nice and cheap.. The spicy attitude is definitely worth it, I'll come back as soon as I can.

I really liked Spicylaos from Luang Prabang. The building is very nice, and the location is perfect. Very close to the town center, yet still pretty quiet area. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The price is fair.

The rooms are not the best and the price might also not be the cheapest. However the enviroment of the hostel is perfect! A balcony with a TV and chill out area where people hang around and get to know each other makes this a Spicy Laos a must stay! The staff is also really helpeful!!
