I absolutely loved Spicythai! I first got there and wanted to move closer to the center of town, but I'm so happy I didn't. I ended up staying eight days, and had so much fun. Just a little outside of the centre of ChiangMai, this hostel has a great atmosphere and great staff - always helpful and able to provide lots of info for most things you'd want to do. Note: don't pay more than 50 or 60 baht for the Song Taew (red taxi) from or to the bus/train station - unless you're reserving it for just yourself. There were ants everywhere - on the computers, on the dining table and in the bathroom. Pillows were hard. Noom had a bad attitude, in my opinion. Some might think it's too far from the city center. But in it's just 20 baht on a redtruck or a nice walk. This is an excellent hostel to meet people. It is absolutely most worthy of winning the best hostel in Thailand. If you like meeting people and having a good time this is a great place for you! wicked hostel, the staff are very helpfull and friendly. Some people dont rate the location, but the bars around here are the best in town (warm up for example).. a taxi is only about 20 baht to town.. definatly stay here, you wont regret it!!wicked hostel, the staff are very helpfull and friendly.
