Amazing! Staff were really welcoming and really helpful with everything, they organised trips and tours for everyone in the hostel. Great atmosphere, easy to meet people, great if you are traveling alone or with a group. Thank you Noom, Saow and Luke for everything!

This hostel was perhaps the nicest in the spicy line-up. very well equipped facilities in a reasonably central location. I had a bit of difficulty finding it the first time but the instructions provided and the front staff's availability on the phone made this easy to resolve.

Great place to met people, they organise activities almost everyday and all members of staff are nice, but they messed up my friends reservation and they had to sleep on the floor. There is only one bathroom upstairs and only 1 out of the 3 showers has hot water - just so you know. Appart of this, is a nice place to stay.

It was really cute, nice atmosphere, you could hear the birds and roosters in the morning. They gave you clean bed sheets when you arrive. Staff were helpful, bathrooms were celan(downstairs). All in all a decent place!

Great hostel for meeting people, very sociable. Made a lot of friends here. Bathrooms not that clean though. Dorms quite well separated so you can have chill out time without being disturbed. Would stay there again.

Excellent Hostel, really good to meet new people. Was travelling on my own and withing 10 minutes of getting there was out at a street market with a load of people from the hostel and out for a good night out.

This place rocked! One of the best hostels I've stayed in! A great place to meet other travelers and super chill. Noom, the hostel owner is awesome too! The dorms are what you expect but clean and nice sheets and towels. Also, the 'trust' bar is great!

We were really surprised with our experience of Spicythai's considering the positive reviews here. This place really lacked the hostel spirit , as the only people staying here were one big group who were uninterested in talking to anyone else but themselves. The female staff member here was very dry and did not smile once (we called her Daria, from the TV series Daria). The dorm itself felt like being in a 4 x 4 prison cell, with yellowing mattress bunk beds and sheets you put on yourself.

Enjoyed the hostel a lot. Very social, well run and most excellent staff. Easy to book the stuff you want to do and there are often group socials organized by Noom that make it all a very cool place to stay. From a facilities point of view, only one complaint...the TV dominates the common room. My personal choice is to not be in the same room as a TV most of the time.

Really nice place to stay for a couple of days! Great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. Spicy Thai organizes a lot of activities and every morning there is free toast, jam and bananas! Awesome! So I would recommend this place :)

The dorm rooms and shower area are not clean. I guess the maids clean the exposed areas only as the area near the walls are full of dust. My towel dropped on the floor, the area that touched the floor is BLACK. It's disgusting. Why would no one clear off the expired shower amenities since its building up? The bathroom near the girls dorm has shaved hair everywhere and a baby cockroach died on the soap. Staffs are excellent, it's just the cleanliness that's needs improvement.

This hostel is one of my favourite hostels i stayed at on my travels. First of all the staff are great. Friendly and very helpful and speak very good english. the hostel is set up very well for socialising and meeting new people. Its got a fun, sociable, friendly, but also relaxing atmosphere, and a big t.v with awesome selection of movies if thats what your into. Good for booking tours, or just finding out general information of places to see and do in the area. Very clean and good facilities.

I couldn't give Spicy Thai any more praise if I tried. As soon as I walked in i was part of a family. There are organised trips and activities nearly everyday which is great as a solo traveller. I was meant to stay a couple of nights and ended up there a week. I want to go back!!!
