The owner and her staff really make this place great. Knowledgable about the ports, nightlife and restaurants.
I enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was really friendly and it is in a convenient location on top of that. No complaints about the place.
Had a great stay. Well located hostel, comfortable, wifi, helpful staff- all you could ask for!
kettle+ 2 mugs would be VERY useful in the delux double bed private room
i arrive in split in the early morning and the hostel just open at 9 am.so i have to wait more than 3 hours. But anyway its good hostel to stay.
Extremely helpful staff and a great location! Clean rooms and facilities. The common area is a great place to meet fellow travelers before heading out to explore and dominate the town of Split. From the hostel Old Town is literally two minutes walk. More importantly, about a minute from bakeries that never close. Nothing like baked food at 4AM on the way back from clubs. Beaches very close by as well. Met other hostellers and Split Backpackers definitely seems like the best place to stay.
We stayed in the private room with the ensuite which was really nice. The staff here at the hostel were very good too. What lets this place down is the kitchen/common room. No stove or oven...this is really limiting. Also that room isn't very inviting for groups to hang out it so it's not a very social atmosphere.
Very very friendly stuff. Good atmosphere. Great location and clean bathrooms. A good place to stay in Split.
Great location and extremely helpful staff. Unfortunately, the heat was not overly effective, so it was very cold in the dorm.
The room smelled really bad and when I tried to use have some of the stuff that is for free, there wasn't any.

Fantastic hostel! The staff treat you like family, the location is strolling distance to everything you could ever need, and it's in a cute residential building that feels like your own house after a day. The only qualm I had with it is that it is a -very- small hostel in terms of physical size, but the atmosphere from both the staff and the other guests more than negate that. Very highly recommended :)
Really good location near the bus, ferry and train. super friendly staff. ran out of hot water though because some people shower for an hour!
Super friendly, helpful staff. Standard double private ensuite was a little small, but still very good value with lockers & TV. Clean room & shower. No breakfast but microwave, fridge & electric kettle available. Good wifi in room & free computer Internet access in kitchen. Need to walk up stairs but supermarkets, bus station and attractions are nearby. Reasonably priced laundry service. 2 small suggestions: curtains in toilet & blanket for the cool nights. Will definitely recommend this hostel.
Great atmosphere. The hostel was very home-y and I was comfortable during my entire stay. I even extended it because Tea was such great company! During my stay, the entire guests loved Tea. She was easy to talk to and was very helpful.
The staff really care about this small hostel and trying to make it better. They themselves make it what it is. It's a few rooms and a kitchenette - hopefully they took our ideas and transformed that space more into a lounge. Overall good.
