Split Hostel booze & snooze Reviews

Vastly overrated hostel, and staff talk behind backpackers who have just checked out. The "party image" too, is far from the expected level.

I thought it was really great that they have a whole system in place for getting people to be social -- dinners, and entire backpackers bar, a nice outdoor space -- so it was really lively and fun. Not luxurious, but definitely clean and pleasant. Didn't notice a kitchen but maybe exists somewhere? Staff were awesome too and definitely well priced. Thumbs up!

good for meeting other travellers and boozing with non Croatian people

Nice place. Have dinner runs everynight to different reustraunts which is good socially. Just hard to find. Its behind a newstand :D

Surprisingly easy place to find. The location is AMAZING. Right in the middle of everything. The staff was totally helpful. There's a great party vibe there and everyone I met there was all about partying.

very basic hostel

The booze and snooze is a pretty good hostel if you've got good weather. Once it rained all day, and because there was no common room it was an incredibly boring day

if you want a party hostel then this is the place to stay in split!! if your looking for sleep and comfort then stay away.

Very central location, attentive staff, good spirit, but don't expect much sleep.

This is a party hostel, so if you like to go out this is a good choice, but for me it was really annoying because during my stay there were quite noisy people there and staff didn't say anything about it. Two dorm rooms are located so that you can easily hear all the noises also from the other room. I am used to stay in hostels and dorms, this is the first place were this was actually a problem for me. There is no kitchen and toilets/showers are quite poor. The location is good and it is cheap.

Perfect if your easy going and not wanting to spend too much time at the hostel. Its a make shift kitchen, hot plate, some utensils and pots and you have to clean your dishes in the bathroom sink. Terrace is good for meeting people.

Rooms and bathrooms were good, great little terrace outside and the location couldn't be better. However, advertising that there is a kitchen is hugely misleading and should not have been done in any capacity. There is a kettle, a tiny fridge and a tiny, portable electric stove. You have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink which is disgusting.

Incredible value, Great staff, and a very very fun atmosphere

This is a "party hostel" - it basically means the people who stay like going out! That's good, because I do to but I didn't bargain on my dorm having no room whatsoever - it was actually a through route to another dorm. Facilities are pretty basic, but it's clean and the staff are friendly.

I celebrated my 21st birthday here and I'm so glad I did. The staff are amazing and friendly. The common room is really cosy and lovely and I met so many fun people. It's really central and easy to find and the staff have endless ideas of things to do.

Really great hostel, very fun, staff were great. Location is fantastic. "kitchen" was not wht expected, but at least we managed to make rice. More then one knife would be good though.
