Was an awesome place to stay and am only disappointed i stayed there one night. The dinner with some of the staff was great and just down the road at a local restaurant. the hostel staff told you about most of the meals and recommended what was the best on the menu. Drinks at the bar afterwards were great and cheap and had typical bar music playing which makes you feel like your at home
Very good value for money, one of the cheapest places I stayed and it even included breakfast!! Good location, has it's own (very cheap!!) bar and they organised a group meal to a really cheap restaurant in town. Staff were okay, cleanliness was okay.
The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and made it really easy to meet people. Very loud if you are trying to sleep though. Excellent location & friendly staff.
Smells like sewage. No reception or common area, too expensive. But it did have good wifi in the rooms
Good clean place but isnt as much of a party hostel as it claims, do have as bar downstairs also open to public which is cvool tyhough
Some of the staff were nice and helpful Others give answers like "it's in the map" Off course I know the direction is in the map, probably you can EXPLAIN to me how can i get there? No receptionist But well located, clean and safe enough Breakfast : don't bother to set the alarm to get it , honestly
Way too expensive for this tiny room with close to no funiture. Nice and central located, but also loud and view on wall.

I booked this hostel, as according to Hostelworld it was run by "friendly Australians", and I was hoping to get advice on the local area and also about the ferry over to Italy. When I arrived, the only staff memeber I found was a local girl in the bar. Checking me in seemed to inconvenience her - she gave me the key, took my money and then went back to the bar - no information, no local map, no anything. The room was stifling hot and they would not put the air conditioning on at night.
The air conditioning was broken during the two nights of our stay in middle of august!! No kitchen and the breakfast takes place in the bar so you eat with beer smells from the night. Otherwise the staff is nice, the location just excellent and the bathroom/toilets are clean.

Nice hostel in the middle of the city . Hard to find because all the streets are looking the same & at the outside you can't really see it's a hostel. Room rooms are clean and everybody has a locker. The bar is top and the staff very helpful. At night there's is always a good atmosphere before you can go out. A hostel were I'll come back! Also very easy to meet other people!
Not the best hostel, neither the worst. Just a good hostel that accomplist its commitment.
A good hostel which does the job, good to have Charlie's bar downstairs/next door. No kitchen is a downside to the facilities. The staff were always helpful and quite funny to talk with. Good social scene with this hostel and this is boosted with the pairing with booze and snooze. I would return back to this hostel.
Can really recommend this place, location is great and the rooms are spacious. The staff organize a "restaurant-crawl" every day so its easy to meet new people and get great food. So if you want to have a great time and the city of split is new to you then this is the place you should go to! To summarize: Nice hostel next to old town in zagreb = 30€, A cold beer in the hostelbar = 2,5€, The superb staff and awesome atmosphere = PRICELESS! //Tintin
I had a pleasent stay here. Had some problems finding the place 'cause of the small alleys. The hostel is above Charlie's Backpackers Bar, with the entrance at the rear side of the bar. The 'recepention' is inside the bar at daytime, after 5 pm it moves inside the hostel to a (very) little computer room on the 1st floor. The rooms are airconditioned. You have some noise from the streets 'til like 1 am.
This is a great place to stay if you're travelling alone. The hostel organizes dinners every night and is situated above a pub, which is another great way to meet people. Split itself is a bit of a party town, so this hostel was extremely loud but I imagine all dorm-style rooms in Split would face the same problem. My only other complaint is that there is only 1 shower per floor.
One of my least favorite hostels on my trip. You are basically stuffed into TINY dorm rooms with barely enough room to access your bed. Croatia is hot in the summer and they leave the temperature too high. Nowhere to chill out, interact with other guests minus a terrible bar downstairs. Looks like their sister hotel (The original) did it right and this place is just trying to piggy back off their success without putting in any work. Avoid.
If you ar looking for the party that is the right place to be becaus there isnt much in Split but you will have it in hostel. Dont miss the dinner date at least once great way to meet people and eat cheap and good.
Fiesta siesta was great. Best feature was that you could get wifi in the rooms, even on the top floor!
