If you're in Phnom Penh for a night and need a solid value... this place delivers.

We normally read reviews about rude staff and think put up with it. However, the staff here were in general unhepful. We could have stayed there but with so many places nearby with helpful staff and similar/cheaper prices we decided to not stay more than one night. Shower was a dribble but room was quite big ad had a large window. We got WiFi in the room too. We just got bad vibes.

The room was basic but nice enough. It's a bit out of the way from most tourist attractions though close to the Russian Markets. Not really "just off the main drag" as the Lonely Planet leads you to believe. All in all it was fine for the low price and we would have stayed there again but the hotel staff gave our room away when our bus was delayed!

The hotel was too expensive for what it offered. We had already payed for a specific type of room through HostelWorld but when we arrived they gave us the choice of two room types, after hours of travelling we just wanted to go to bed so we chose the more expensive option than we had anticipated. The location was poor, although a bit of research by us would have realised this. You didn't really feel safe being on the surrounding streets at night.
