Good location right next to the train station, so it's easy to get to and get around from here. The staff were also very helpful. However we were not keen on beijing itself. As for the hostel it's an old refurb hotel so the rooms are good, clean and fairly new. However it does smel of smoke (but so does everywhere else in china) and I would not advise eating there as we saw the kitchen. On what must have been a bad day and it was horrific. Good overall but I'm sure better can be found.

Excellent place! The only thing to improve is the internet connection: The connection is very instable and we had to go to the italian cafe next door to send E-Mails

Great location, clean rooms and super-friendly staff.

Springtime hostel, super location, situated right at entrance to Dongsi subway lines #5 and 6. Conveniently located in central Beijing. Room was spacious and comfortable even though chair, albeit very smart, was small. Staff were pleasant and helpful. One misunderstanding was resolved professionally. Nice atmosphere. WuMart supermarket located diagonally across the large intersection. Excellent Chinese breakfast restaurant right around the corner. Biggest problem: wifi very weak.

Stay here for two nights, good location as it is behind subway station (line 5 Dongxi)but unknown to most taxi driver. Very helpful and friendly staff at front desk. Allow to use toilet and other facility even after we have check out and waited for taxi to airport. This is much appreciated as we had bad experience from Ibis hotel of Harbin who says no toilet for those check out. Will recommend to others.

Very helpful staff ,good service

We stay in a 4 beds dorm style room with big enough space for us. Everything is superb about the hotel and the room except for 3 things - hotel pick-up, bathroom and towel Airport pick was very expansive at RMB360, felt like we're being cheated. Also, it was awkward that the bathroom door is transparent though it does have extra partition for toilet inside. We notice our towels were not changed at all during our 6days stay. Not sure if we actually need to request for the new towel every time.

We only stayed for one night in the mixed dorm of this "hostel". It was much more a hotel with some dorm rooms than a hostel, so the atmosphere was accordingly... Further, they let a woman check-in at 6:50am (!!!) while we were still sleeping. She made quite some noise, boiled some water and made her comfortable for almost one hour... We never experienced a check-in that early, if someone dtays in a dorm... Besides from this, the stay was quite good. Easy so find and clean.

Spring Time Hostel in Beijing is an great value hostel, directly at one of the downtown metro stations (dongsi). The double room we had, had a bathroom ensuite. Bathroom and the room itself were as nice as in a hotel. The bar downstairs had daily deals, In terms of atmosphere, however, it also felt more like a hotel than a hostel - unfortunately...

I had to leave earlier than expected, due to an unexpected problem at home. Staff helped me with many ways and I really appreciate that. This is 'kind of a hotel' rather a hostel. it has most of facilities you could find at a hotel. Location is right next to the Dongsi Metro station which serves two lines. Staff is Friendly.

Fantastic hostel. Great location, great atmosphere, great staff, great prices, nice rooms and one of the best showers you will ever have in a hostel!

Stayed in the 4 person room. Only needed a place to sleep for the night, so overall not bad. Very convenient to the subway. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom had no lock and the curtain in the bathroom doesn't cover the entire glass wall, so the person on the top bunk next to the bathroom wall could peer into the bathroom if she or he really wanted to.

right in between of 2 subway exits so the location is really great and easy to access. To me, the only thing to be improved is that the room needs door card to have electricity and air-con, which in a dorm room the first one in might not be the last one out so you will need to ask others to put in theirs if you put your card in and want to go

We had a really nice stay over the weekend in a private 4-bedroom at Spring time Hostel. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean although (like you'll see it more often in China) the toilet and the shower are really close together due to a lack of space. So you might get the toilet wet :D. All in all Highly recommended!
