Undoubtedly the best feature of this hostel is its location. It's located right above two important subway lines, the #5 going north & south, and #6, the east-west line that transfers to many lines in the city. Also, there are convenient restaurants and shops in the area. It's a busy, not bustling, area. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. One small chair. The room is plain, drab, and kind of boring. The bathroom OK, shower good, but no shelf in shower. Water in shower splashes over on floor.
The location of the hostel is perfect! It is close to most of the major attractions that Beijing has to offer! The hostel also offers various tours which are worth the money! In general a good hostel, if you are a backpacker and looking to meet fellow travelers, this is not the place (poor common area/bar).
Is a cheap hotel with a good size room and great location to the subway. Easy to find. The 'bar area' was small but functional and would have been a nice area however the staff were rude making us feel uncomfortable to go downstairs - they refused to turn the lights on in the bar and ignored any requests to get drinks. The selection of beer was very limited and the reading area was a shelf with some books. As with all hotels the tour prices for the wall were overpriced.
