Very clean, very quiet. Meals may be purchased at very low cost. The food is FANTASTIC, prepared according to the guest's diet and preference. Packed lunches also available for purchase. Cooking for yourself or partying is discouraged. The couple who own the hostel are Buddhists who share their teachings with those who wish to learn and welcome guests to meditate with them. A very unique and personal experience!

The Squamish Oasis Hostel is a cozy and charming little place right in downtown Squamish. The owners are super friendly and accomodating, even offering to cook your dinner for a small fee. The facilities are basic, but functional and clean. Since there's no TV, you can partake in the daily zen meditation offered by the owners in their dojo living room. This hostel offers great value for the money. Highly recommended.
