it's a pretty nice hostel, just keep in mind that there is no lift so if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to to carry it. asides from that, the staff are pretty friendly and for a hostel it's definitely worth checking out if you'd like to be in the area.

The upper beds should have a "protector, barrier" to avoid a fall.

Everything was good. What we don't liked was having the bathroom inside of the shared room.

Very helpful staff, esp. clean women as well as Ms. Nicole behind the reception desk!

You get what you pay for and everything's a bit small and old, but then, that's the part of Paris you're in. But everything is clean, and the Metro Bar and staff are fantastic. Really not a bad place at all for a couple nights so long as your plans are to come in just to sleep and use the wifi at night.

Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. It was great to have breakfast included, although a bit of fresh fruit and oatmeal would be excellent additions. I enjoyed my stay at Square Caulaincourt

Tiny but functional kitchen. Bar downstairs (funny British guy tending bar when we were there). Staff do their jobs, but from what I remember seemed slightly disinterested. As a couple, we got a twin and then a double room to ourselves at the dorm rate, which was nice.

My experience in this hostel wasn’t negative, but I can’t recommend it. First, in a double room they put three bunk beds, reducing the free space in the room, there weren’t lockers to safe belongings, and the size of the beds were small for someone 1.80m. I thought that an en suite room was better, but with six people using the bathroom-toilet you can imagine the noise. The location was average, not too far from the main attractions by metro. Overall I felt that they didn’t give me valueformoney

If you were not specting to spend a night in Paris or you looking for hostel that can host you in the last moment, you should avoid this one. I booked at 9 p.m on hostelworld homepage expecting to arrive late, what I thougth not to be a big deal, once it was signed 24 hours reception. When I arrived Staff was extremely rude, telling to go way, and complaint wherever he didn't care, even after showing them my booking reference. ... well, there it go Hopefully we got in. I dont recomend it !

Very clean, room design reminded me of an old B&B. Staff was not extremely friendly, except for the bartender. Free crepe was nice. Great location. Would visit again.

No frills but good location with bars and cafes nearby and nice neighborhood to explore. Very simple sleeping and washing facilities but for Paris, this is good value. Free breakfast was more than adequate. Good for stays of less than 3 nights. Anything more and you probably want the comfort of a more expensive flashpackers in Paris.

The bathroom was small and dirty, it was almost impossible to get changed there, the walls and surfaces were smeared... I didn't want to look too close but I think there was blood on the door. When I arrived there was a party downstairs, which is great if you want to mix with people. However, if you want to get some rest, it is way too loud. Wifi didn't work for me. All in all, acceptable given the price but don't expect too much.

Nothing special but in a very great position. Poor breakfast and the Wifi doesn't work in the bedroom. The room is very simple but clean. Staff doesn't care a lot about you.
