Nice hostel close to Big Goose Pagoda park and on bus route for train station. Rooms were clean and bright. Very smoky in public areas especially computers. Great restraunts in area especially "Lily Dumplings" Room cleaned and stocked everyday. Towels provided and handy drying rack in room. Staff were really helpful and even came to meet us as we wandered around trying to find it!!! very difficult to find, there was two different names for it on the internet and then a completely different one over the door as we arrived. Outside old town, but next to wild goose pagoda (new shopping/eating area). Rooms were OK. Staff bit poor, did not speak good English and could not help us with regular backpack/travel questions. It's not so close to the railway station, but it's worthy to stay there - everything is really clean and rooms are amazing. Free Internet, close to the singing fountains complex and about 20 minutes by bys to city centre. Don't have a breakfast in hostel! This hostels is very far from the center of Xian and it took us 1hr to find it. The toilets are dirt and about the shared showers, you have to take it in front of the others.... The staff don't speak very good English and they don't have a lot to offer. Don't have guest kitchen, don't have dryer machine. We had the traditional chinese room, who was pretty nice with a chinese bed. But if you want to stay longer, the price get higher for the same room....
