Single Rooms were pretty cheap. Everything was relatively good, but could also have been improved. The location isnt too bad,about 10minute walk to Bangla road. We got a double room for 300baht, only problem was that there was building work goin on around the hostel. The building work starts at 8 every morning. The room we had was adjacent to the building site so we heard everything. We said it to the reception about the noise from the building site and from then they started a bit later The hostel is spotless,rooms are spacious and there is a tv and dvd player in The location isnt too bad,about 10minute walk to Bangla road. Great staff, lovely place, nice little pool and free internet. DVD player in room with lots of DVDs you could borrow from reception. Only thing that could make it better would be a little restaurant/bar. Had a great time here.Great staff, lovely place, nice little pool and free internet. Absolutely loved it. It was excellent value for money and a really good find. The room was huge with a king size bed and a single bed although there were only two of us. It appears to be a newly renovated building. The staff were helpful and there was even a small pool in the lobby albeit not very big but lovely to dip into to cool down. I would highly recommend Square One and will definately stay there again if passing through Phuket. It is more like a hotel than a hostel. BArgain!!!Absolutely loved it. Basically a hotel, close to the beach at Patong and about 10 minutes to Bangla Road which is ideal - close enough to get there without any fuss but not so close it keeps you awake when you need to be up at 7. The room that we stayed was cool. We had fridge, TV, closet, 1 queen size and 1 single bed. The toilet is also big. Even if its like 10 minutes away from patong beach, its still fine. Its along the main road thou a bit difficult to find at first. Overall, i was satisfied. Mabuhay ang Square One!!!The room that we stayed was cool. The staff were great and the room was more than ideal. The only issue we had was the construction site beside squarone starting work as early as 7.30 some mornings... they made alot of noise with hammers and drills. Managemnt should have ensured that work would not disturb their own guests.The staff were great and the room was more than ideal.
