Hotel treatment at backpacker prices. Dorm room was very clean with a daily maid service, towels included and with a working tv. The sliding door didn't lock and the last safe was broken but nothing was stolen. Bathroom was adequate but sink kept blocking up, there was another sink we could use until it was fixed. Was nice to have a swimming pool, but the pool man was on holiday so there was lots of bugs and bits in it. Good wifi. Less than 10 mins walk to the beach.

Good place to stay; Phuket itself is more expensive than the rest of Thailand. The hostel rate is good for phuket and is nice place, not bud located (near from the beach and a 7minutes to the main road to go out at night). nice staff

We stayed in a dorm, there was no key to the outside doors, but there seemed to be someone always at the reception. There is a nice little pool there too. Good sized room, good shower. There is a safe in the room but no lockers.

Square one was absolutely great! Great location only five minutes away from the beach and 15 minute walk to Bangla road. The staff were really friendly and always willing to help with anything. The hostel was so incredibly clean and nice. The pool was a nice added bonus too! Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere clean and a little bit quieter (it's nice to get away from the chaos of Bangla road if you want a good nights sleep )!

The sliding patio to my dorm did not lock..... it was fairly close to bars. Literally stayed less than 15 hours. It was fine

Simple hostel for a decent price. Swimming pool, free wifi and free computers to use. Very nice, clean, ensuite rooms with comfy beds. Atmosphere wasn't really there but in Phuket it was a nice to escape from the insanity just a 5 minute walk away! Arranged a ferry and taxi to PhiPhi though the reception, very helpful.
