The Hostel is very well located opposite the Students Union and I had a whole room to myself. The bed was comfy and the shower piping hot. It would however have been helpful had the hostel stated clearly that check in was between 12pm and 3pm and 6pm-10pm. As well as taking a £10 deposit for the key. None of these posed a problem but it would have been helpful to know in advance. The beds and pillows were of a poor quality making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. I have been informed that they are to be replaced next year. I hope that is the case. Manager here is a top bloke and will help you out with anything you need. Located right in the main part of town and also right near the Old Course, this hostel has a great location! Cooking facilities are the best in any hostel i have ever been in! Only negative is it can be annoying if you want a cold beer because the kitchen is closed from 10PM. I was only at the hostel one day, but I was very happy with everything. The manager of the hostel was a good fellow. The hostel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was nice and peaceful. I felt my belongings were safe and the building was secure. The only negative I could think off is that the water in the showers wasn't very warm. Also, there is no shelf in the shower to hang your soap and shampoo, so you have to rest it all on the floor of the shower. other than it was good!I was only at the hostel one day, but I was very happy with everything.
