I know that this was a very cheap place to stay in London - that said, the website made it out to be something more than it was (which was a pretty basic hostel). Location was great, it was pretty clean - but the room was really small and shabby and the bathroom was on a different floor. Next time I would probably pay a little more for something a bit more comfortable

Good value for money. I was told that I could only receive Wi-Fi in the public room but actually I reached it in my room all the time. Added another night to my stay and got it for the same price as the other ones booked on the internet which was great. I loved the café down stairs but was never up early enough to buy breakfast there. On the first day I got in around 11 in the morning but got the room right away which was a big plus (I was coming from Ethiopia on an all night flight). Excellent!

Everyone should spend a night at St Athan's to feel like a true British 60's proletary!
