I appreciate that the facilities in a budget hotel will be basic and they were. The single room was small and cheerless and although the bed linen was lovely and clean, the duvet underneath and the pillow were pretty ropey, and the shower curtain was old and stained. The young people who run it seem to be very laid back and casual about running the hostel/hotel. Need to do something about the noise - the whole point of being in the hotel, not hostel, was to avoid drunken idiots waking us up at 5am, but that still happened! Push button shower was horrible, tiny, freezing, painful, with pointless toilet in the way. The rooms were ok, but dirty knives for breakfast ruined the impression totally.
