Absolutely brilliant hostel. We were worried about the bar downstairs but didn't hear a thing from our room. Large spacious rooms, very clean, friendly staff. Only complaint is the pillows were not very comfortable and it would be nice t have a kitchen, but it's understandable with the bar serving delicious, large and cheap meals they want you to eat there.

The hostel is nicely located to all the main attractions. However the bar area is quite small so was always very crowded. Furthermore, having stayed at St.Christophers this was the worst one. Not an ideal place for individual travellers as most people seemed to be in groups, and less friendly then in other hostels! But still nice, and the food is great!

Right next to U-Bahn station, which was pretty nice. And U2 is also a major line. Clean Hostel, very nice looking and modern. But my room had some scratched spots on the wall that could have easily been painted.

It seems pretty popular amongst travelers, judging by the amount of backpackers I saw coming through. The environment is very lively since the hostel is conjoined with a bar, which is fun if you wanna grab a drink & meet some new people. It is right next to a metro station also which is convenient, and only a short walk to the bus station. Breakfast is decent with baguettes, cheeses, salami, cereal & apples. Only downside is no wifi upstairs in the rooms, only in the downstairs lobby.

Stayed in a double room. We shared kitchen and bathroom with only one other double room. In my opinion the hostel had quite a lot of privacy as the dorms and apartments were on different floors pretty separately, but on the other hand there was a good opportunity to socialize with the other hostel quests at the hostel bar. Everything was clean and in good shape. Staff friendly & helpful. I liked better Friedrichshein and Kreutzberg, but everything could be reached from the location.

The location is great, the staff is very helpful, and there's a cool bar downstairs with good food. The beds are comfy and have curtains for privacy. The only downside is that there's no wifi in the rooms, only in the bar.

The location of the hostel was ideal (St. Christopher's in Berlin) . We had booked out an 8 person dorm for 8 people and the room was of a good size, well maintained and comfortable. What was most impressive is the cleanliness of the hostel. The facilities were spotless and well maintained. Considering the hostel was full at the time, this was a very impressive feat. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar, food and atmosphere was really enjoyable.

Hostel was really great, loved the bar and the appearance. Staff was nice and helpful, at least most of them. Can't really find any minuses about the hostel! Loved it!

I enjoyed my stay a lot and the room was excellent. The only critique I have is that the doors to the hallways, bathrooms etc. make a sharp banging noise when they shut automatically. This could be easily adjusted with a screwdriver on the spring that closes the doors. It would definitely reduce overall noise levels a lot!

The hostel was nice place and in very good place. I didn't like so much about bar dowstairs coz it was a bit too noisy. Staff was ok but couple of the members of staff were arrogants and served only people who they wanted to serve. When asked to put the music a little bit down for a icehockey game (German was playing) they could'n do it but for the football game it was possible. Once a sport bar, always a sport bar and icehockey is sport. Location was good and rooms were really clean.

At a first look the room and the bathroom looked clean, but there was a lot of dust under the armchair and the drawer. Looked like no one ever cleaned the room during my 7-day stay. Electric plugs in uncomfortable position: in the bathroom there weren't any! Breakfast choice was a little too basic (please, add plain yogurt, muesli and true -- not instant -- coffee). Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location (literally in front of a metro station, in a lively and interesting district).
