Took a weekend trip to Berlin as a solo traveller and loved my time at St Christophers. The staff were super friendly and the social nature of the hostel makes making friends very easy. Its located right on a subway line so getting around the city is easy. The beds were comfy and clean and even though the bar was loud, rooms stayed quiet. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in Berlin

Good breakfast, big rooms, good bar food and discounts on food and drinks. Curtains on the beds, big lockers underneath and the individual lights and plugs that you find in their hostels all over. It's nice that you can expect a certain quality with their chain. Sometimes the bathroom floors were dirty, push button showers were annoying, but they had good water pressure and temps. Wifi is only at bar and doesn't always work. It gets hot in rooms at night, street noise outside, and bad pillows.

Well located, in front of metro station. Nice staff, good and clean beds, with curtains for more privacy. Wide lockers, good and clean showers, nice breakfast. But they dont have kitchen so you will have to eat out or in the bar downstairs, wich is very expensive. And they might change your room during your stay, even if you book the same type of room for the entire period, wich is terrible, cause you need to check out and check in again, pack everything and stuff. Check in is late, only 14h.

excellent hostel, it would be nicer to have internet in the rooms not just in the bar

Great hostel - in the center. A bit of an older crowd when I was there and I ended up being the only girl in a room of guys (so if that bothers you - make sure to get a female room or book elsewhere). Nice, big rooms and beds. Good breakfast and nice bar downstairs. The neighborhoods of Berlin are a lot nicer than the center - I split my time between two hostels and it worked out nicely.

They needed a separated entrance for hostel and bar..... Its an average hostel, it wouldn't be my first option in Berlin!

The environment is one of te best I have been to but as far as the staff and showers horrible. The showers stay on for 2.4 seconds before shutting off and when u turn it back on its either scolding hot or freezing cold. Also, the floors in the showers are nasty and need proffesional cleaning. I think Berlin is the nicest city in the world but this hostel is not worth a sleep

The girl at reception was lovely and helpful! The bar was a little under-staffed during the football games but the guy with long hair who plays the guitar was amazing, excellent customer service! Girls, the mixed dorms seem to have better beds, and don't use the unisex showers, the girls bathroom block has a better shower.. Little far from the centre, but close to Alexanderplatz so it's still convenient

This hostel was great! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the sport's bar and there were plenty of people to meet. The bathrooms and showers were clean. There were lock boxes underneath the bunk beds for security along with curtains on the bunk beds so you are able to sleep easier! Everyone at the reception was friendly and helpful, along with the everyone who was working the bar. The food was great and the beer was great. I also enjoyed that they did specials for the guests, nice place and inexpensive

This hostel was great because the beds were comfortable; the rooms were clean and welcoming; the showers were spacious and had good water pressure; there were enough toilets and showers for everyone; we met and befriended many people while staying here; the location was very central and right near a metro station anyways; the prices were very reasonable; and the free breakfast was delicious and all-you-can-eat (a rarity!). I would recommend this place to any traveler in Berlin!

would have been better if wi-fi was available outside the incredibly noisy and packed pub, beside that great rooms, good value for money and the music playing in the pub was excellent :D

The hostel is really nice. It's very well located, and quite easy to get to from the main train station. I've stayed in a 3 bed dorm for two nights and it was really cool. The bedroom was bigger than I expected and the bathroom as well. Breakfast area was good, as it is part of Belushi's bar during th night. It has a good variety of food to have breakfast and there's a city tour starting from the hostel so it was really comfortable so as to start knowing the city.
