Even though I only stayed one night, I really enjoyed my stay in Berlin! The staff were really helpful, too. I had been scammed out of €175 the night before in a different city in Germany, so I was at a low point in my vacation, but the interactions I had with the staff really helped to lift my spirits. The only thing that was "bad" about this particular stay was that I didn't get to spend more time there!! Best place to stay in Berlin! Danke schön!

A large part of the bad scores are due to the handful of boneheads who took booze back upstairs and felt like recreating chariots of fire across the hallway all night long instead of getting out amongst it in Berlin, and then smashing a pot plant in the bathroom. Also, if I was female I wouldn't be a huge fan of the saloon doors in some of the showers. Shame, because I found the staff friendly and helpful, and the bar wasn't too bad. I guess, sadly, you're only as good as your clients.

What I loved about this hostel was that the big dorm for 12 people was divided into sections, so that you really only felt like you were in a small dorm with a few people. The beds had curtains that you could draw to block out light. The showers had the best water pressure of any hostel that I have ever stayed in! True to the other descriptions, this place has a party atmosphere and party people stay there.

Great location, staff friendly, breakfast included (which we needed to mop up alcohol and tiredness). We were lucky with the two others whom we didn't know that we shared a room with as they were great and good banter (there were two of us). Would admit it was noisy, but a dull thudding music sound that I personally found alright to sleep with. Whenever me or my friend went to have a shower we always had our pick as there are plenty of shower facilities, v.clean.

the breakfast was good, a step up from the st. christophers paris. it included nicer buns, meat, and cheese inaddition to the cereal, jam, coffee. the hostel has a pretty commercial feel to it, but its still a nice place to stay. very clean. wish there was a kitchen available though!

Great hostel, good storage facilities and a nice crowd. No communal area apart from the bar downstairs and no kitchens. The cleaners do a great job of keeping the whole place spick and span!

Amazing. Great bar, great amenities. I felt so at home. And those working at the bar and reception were helpful and just cool.

everything was ok, but as almost always happens, no wifi in rooms, only in the common area. Why almost every hostel doesn't have wifi in rooms?, just buy a couple of routers and fix it!

Good hostel overall, cheap food and drink plus good location make it an ideal base for travellers. Weekends/football nights make the bar rammed and with the only access to the rooms being a small door across the bar it is a nightmare to get to the rooms, especially with a large backpack, also makes checking in on these nights a challenge as reception is part of the bar. No wi-fi in the rooms which although is stated before arrival is still a bit of a ballache.
