Staff were exceptionally helpful, the rooms were light, airy and clean. Breakfast was limited in choice but plentiful in amount and the hostel itself was in a great location, just a short walk from the tube. Though its character was rather generic it had the advantage of being one of the nicer I've stayed in.

Good location in the heart of Camden. Upstairs from a noisy pub though. Like all St Christophers hostels there is no kitchen in an attempt to get you to eat their overpriced bar food and not much of a common room. Overall it was okay. Next time I am in London I will stay somewhere else though.

Nice, basic place to stay. Pretty much the definition of a European hostel.

The lock system downstairs failed, had to pay extra and was very concerned that i had lost all my important belongings. But the staff were super friendly, they helped me with the locks and they made my stay there all the better.

The showers are terrible!.. The worst hostel showers I have come across. I literally could not have a shower. It was too cold. Lucky for me, there are showers at my work. The light in the bathroom didn't work, but, it was fixed after a couple of days. The luggage room is not very secure, so I wouldn't feel safe leaving luggage there. In the dorm room there are cages to lock your belongings in. But you need to have a lock for them. The location is good and the staff are really nice : )

I really liked the hostel, and especially the warm and helpful staff! I also appreciated that everything was very clean, even the public toilets in the bar, and the confortable sheets and pillow. The only thing I didn't like was the noise, in some of the rooms. in mine, at 2d floor, the noise was ok (I did not hear the music in the bar, just the aeration outside). But my friend, who slept at the right of first floor, couldn't sleep until 2 am, because of the music...

One of the worst hostels we ever stayed in. We were 'sleeping' in a room above the bar, and it seems that there was no isolation in the ceilings; while lying in bed, you could hear every song played and every word speaken in the bar. After the bar was closed, we were joined by the terrible noise of the airco installation on the rooftop. Conclusion: we almost didn't sleep during our weekend in London. As an extra surprise; there were cockroaches in the shower. We wouldn't come back to this place.

Great location and excellent staff. I have only ever stayed in a twin so can't comment on the dorms but will say that our room was tiny, the only mirror was in the bathroom and the plug socket so far away that any chance of using it to style your hair are nada. I'd also consider taking ear plugs when you go as the bar downstairs can be noisy till late. However once you have booked with them you get 10% off food, drink and beds whenever you visit, plus breakfast is included.

Incredibly friendly staff!!! The rooms were good, comfortable and clean beds. The shower was small and the floor was wet making it a bit difficult, but I have experienced worse. The breakfast was decent. By far the friendliest hostel staff I have encountered.

The hostel was just your pretty average hostel. Comparing it to other St Christopher hostels it wasn't as nice. Everything was clean and tidy, the security was tight - but a few doors down there was a robbery in one of the rooms which was a bit unsettling. Also, the music from the bar downstairs was so ridiculously loud - you could hear it thumping in the rooms. That was a bit irritating. Not so close to the station, but Camden in general is a great area.

I am 26, and would be staying in the Ritz if I had the means, so please take this with a pinch of salt. All I care about is having a clean, warm bed, somewhere clean to put my things, and a clean bathroom with a HOT shower. I didn't enjoy my stay at St Christophers, even though in my short soujourn I got the impression that it is a well run and very friendly institution, because I didn't like the shower, the light didn't work in the toilet, and the pillows were flat. I know I'm too fussy.

If you're looking for a quiet place to sleep, then maybe it's not for u, cause it's a bit noisy till midnight cause the downstairs bar.. Didn't disturb me tho :) Met some nice people there. Wifi wasn't the best, didn't work half of the time. Location excellent - close to Camden Markets and everything else u might need. Not far from the tube stations either (Mornington Crescent or Camden Town). Supernice staff!! Special thanks to Nick for printing me out some papers that I needed!! :)

If I had known that a public bar is just daownstairs and that they play really loud music until midnight I wouldn't have booked the hostel. The staff is very friendly though and the breakfast is alright as well. Unfortunately, they don't have a computer for guests. Camden Town is great but it takes a longer ride on the subway to get to the major sights. And be aware of the fact that the toilet is NOT in the room. The ensuite bathroom consists of a shower and the toilets are on the floor.
