Location is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, beds comfy (we had the private), good security. Hostel was rather basic but did the job and at a good price for London. My only complaints are that we didn't sleep all night as our room was next to the toilets and the doors seriously need an oiling, and nobody intervened when our drunken neighbours and their (non-hostel) guests banged on every door at 3am and were singing loudly in the hallway for 1.5 hours!!! Average overall.

Don't expect to get any sleep before 2 am. There's free earplugs, but that's a joke since the music and the bass will keep your bed jumping constantly from 10 pm. The location is good in Greenwich, but you rely 100 percent on public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are fairly big with bedrollers for your valuables.

The hostel is cheap so dont expect too much. Its above a Pub so its really noisy at night. Good things: There are lockers and you need to have a card to enter the hostel and your room.

For me the stay was a nightmare, a girl came in the middle of the night, woke me up, kept fidgeting all night making the bed squeak! Didn't get a wink!

I just thought it was closer to the most of touristic points, it is not. The staff is good despite I had not much contact to everyone. I like my staying at St Christopher Greenwich.

I had booked initially for a longer period of time but needed to get out of there asap simply because I could not stand having a cold shower every morning. I realise it is a hostel - hence the cheaper price, but in the middle of winter you could turn the water up on the shower so that your guests don't catch colds.

Room was clean, I like the fact that you have security lockers downstairs. Generally a good crowd. The only issue is the showers are a bit dodgy.

Great service, the bed I was in seemed to have been used recently before me, the bar was nice and everyone there was pretty nice.

The room I was in was above the main entrance to the bar underneath so there was a lot of noise from people going outside to smoke and the window was jammed open so we couldn't shut out the noise. The hostel is ideally located if you are going to the O2 arena.

Hostel is fantastic - particularly the staff. They are super friendly and helpful and it wouldn't be the same without them. The place was always warm, cosy and clean and I would definitely go back. The best value for money at any hostel I've been to and I would recommend highly to others. Thank you for a great stay!

I loved the bar and the staff was nice. The location was in a nice area but a bit off. But it was cheap and good value for the money. You can experience a full night out just being there since it has a bar and a club. Club is on weekends Complaints: Need to clean bathrooms several times during the day and check if there's paper Don't turn of the heat and plz have hot water available Plz give me as much onion rings as my friend got

It was a nice time. The hostel has a pub wich is very fun and they play great music. But I didn´t like the security in the rooms. The rooms should have lokers for each costumer with a secure lock. Other than that it was very nice.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi there, Thank you for your review. Just to let you know, every bed has an individual cage with padlocks available to purchase from reception if you do not bring your own. We also have coin operated lockers downstairs in our common room. Thanks, Kelly Henderson, General Manager, St Christopher's Inn, Greenwich

Rooms very untidy and not very clean. I felt very cold during the night. Breakfast was rubbish, just slice bread and nutella. Attention very bad and rude people. It was really expensive for the value.

I stayed for 3 nights. Very noisy throughout the nighttime, clean staff was also impolite and noisy, the whole building is pretty old. Choose another place if you need a good sleep. The location is not bad to go to loncon city centre.

All the straff at St Christopher's Inn Greenwich have been more then helpfull, its like staying in a family enviroment it fun, loving and caring as they are willing to help you and answer any questions that u have to ask in the best way they can. I loved there recent charity pantomime PUSS IN BOOTS, I hope they put on more shows. I found that both the inn and bar to be excellent value for my money and the food was lovly. when I return I'm going stay there again and will recomend it to EVERYONE!

Staff are excellent, particularly Liz, Orelien and Simon. The pub downstairs is great and reasonably priced, watch out at the weekend though it's open til two am which us no good when you've got to start work at eight the next day. Other than that really good hostel, reasonable prices, nice staff with a good pub underneath.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the hostel and would definitely use it again and recommend it to others. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was excellent and the bar seemed very popular with residents and non-residents alike. Although travelling alone, at no point did I feel lonely. As I left after only one night (having stayed for a gig) I actually felt a little sad that I wasn't stopping longer!

Good hostel. The bar below does good special offers on beer, some of the cheapest you're likely to find in London. The same bar is basically a nightclub at night. Whilst this was fine with me, don't stay here If you want to sleep before 2am, it won't happen. Staff were friendly, Dan was very helpful. Good stay, would use again. Very easy to find as right outside greenwich DLR station
