The staff was friendly but not always very efficient. We waited long to put our luggage away and again to check in while there was hardly anyone there. Plus one of the beds seemed double booked in the middle of the night when we got home. This was taken care off but a bummer to our weekend. Next time I would prefer to stay at the village again, which was full this time, cause that one was great!

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Especially Ollie and Sebastien. I would have been in real trouble without them.

Great location, easily accessible by bus, DLR or city bikes. Next to many interesting locations like the Observatory. As usual, St. Christopher's offers very comfortable bar where free breakfast is also served.

Good location, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly bar staff. Breakfast was fine. BUT they have serious issues with their booking system. I booked 3 nights in a mixed 6 bed dorm, and ended up having to change rooms EVERY DAY, staying in room types I hadn’t booked! and they don’t have a luggage room… I did complain but women at reception just said I shouldn’t have booked via hostelworld, making me feel responsible for their mistake. they didn’t even seem to feel the need to apologise.

In my room and in the top of my bunk there were people sleeping together, nasty. The shower need to be push all the time, even with a reservation a needed to change my room and no one of the staff knew exactly when a needed to change. It is not organized and there is loud music every day until 2am.

Really enjoyed my stay here in Greenwich. Hostel is clean and tidy, situated in a good position and it is easy to get to central London from here. Really enjoyed breakfast every morning, there is always a cheerful and friendly staff member on hand to assist with anything, nothing is too much trouble. Had a great time on the weekend, hanging out in the bar, meeting lots of new people, everyone is very friendly. Definitely will come back here, when I visit London again. Thanks guys.

St Christophers Greenwich is a nice, cosy place with a great location in central Greenwich. Good for anyone who'd like to see small-town London rather than Picadilly Circus. Only critique may be that they're playing the "let's party hard"-angle a bit too hard.

The staff was nice and friendly. The pub/restaurant downstairs added character to the place, but the late night music on Friday took us by surprise. The place draws an interesting mix of down to earth people. While on the outskirts of London, the place is right by the train station for an easy getaway.

The hostel is very good. Only the location is a little bit far from the center of London, and there is no trains at night.

Excellent establishment, staff are extra friendly and accomodating and very helpful with any issues and concerns we had. Location is in a nice, quieter area very close to the Cutty Sark and some amazing parks, meals were excellent value for money, drinks were even better, and its located right next to a station (making trips to other areas very very easy). Highly recommend and will stay there again. If you are looking for a good nights rest somewhere choose here. (Review written before remodel)

need to bring a lock for luggage or u can pay 2 to 4 pound to store luggages in an electronic locker at the basment they have a chill room which the tv is not working and quite dirty. staff is very friendly, security is alright, they use an electronic cards to enter rooms and backdoor (need to use it after 12 am), the card work fine for us during the stay very easy to find the breakfast only have cereals, hot drinks, bread+jam the shower is hot and strong, love it, however used by man+girl

the hostel was very good value. it was very friendly ,very clean , the breakfast was good. we used it when we went to watch the marathon, they were very organised and gave us breakfast downstairs. because the bar was full of marathon runners using the toilet. they had a young girl filling up the breakfast area, she was very pleasant and nothing was to much trouble for her. i would recimend this hostel to anyone
