Hostelworld says:
The friendly, attentive and welcoming staff of St Christopher's Hammersmith are frequently cited by our users as one of the best features of the hostel. We particularly like their pub crawl and the 25% discount offered on food in the downstairs pub. Our guests also regularly note how clean the hostel is. It's across the road from the Piccadilly line at Hammersmith underground station, putting it mid-way between Heathrow airport and central London and connecting directly to many of the most popular and interesting sites in the city.
Property Information:
The Hammersmith Hostel in London is easy to get to from Heathrow Airport - a short trip away on the London Underground Piccadilly line - and it's surrounded by buzzing a hive of activity. From Hammersmith there are links to everywhere in London and there’s a direct London Underground connection to the Victoria train and coach station.
In fact, guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to transport options - with not one but four tube lines, the nearby Kensington-Olympia over-ground railway station and one of the biggest bus stations in London located just over the road. There are also lots of night buses which go in and out of this station, so staying out late in London is not a problem!
At reception you will find some super-friendly fellow backpackers full of local London knowledge. They can help you out with maps, top money-saving tips and an essential crash course in how to make the most of your trip to London.
Next to reception, in our Belushi’s bar, guests can also make the most of daily drink deals, home cooked meals for less than £4 a person and super-cheap, cooked breakfast upgrades - for when you fancy something different from the free continental breakfast, served to all guests everyday
All guests receive a 25% discount on food at the on-site restaurants, plus great discount deals on drinks!
You’ll find St Christopher's and Belushi's on Hammersmith Broadway - a five-minute walk away from the Hammersmith Apollo, one of the greatest live music and comedy venues in London. The Apollo has played host to the mighty Beatles and Black Sabbath, and today it still attracts some of the biggest acts around, including Bjork and Sheryl Crow.
Also nearby are some beautiful scenic river walks along the Thames and the lovely Kensington Park Gardens, and Hyde Park. If it’s shopping you’re after then Harrods is easy to get to from Hammersmith as is the Westfield Shopping Centre - one of the biggest shopping malls in the northern hemisphere! The hostel is also only a twenty-minute journey from central London and the shopping fun on Oxford Street.
Please note that we do not accept guests under the age of 18 and photo ID is required upon check-in.

Good value for money, helpful and friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, large spacious rooms. The pub serves the purpose, but this hostel can be improved by having a common chill out room with coffee/tea facilities.
