Private room was great - really comfortable bed and nicely decorated (although would have been nice to have some tea to be able to use the kettle). Shared bathroom facilities were really poor - only one toilet with a lockable door which by the morning was blocked and unusable. The second toilet didnt have a seat. showers looked average, due to the general appearence of the bathroom i didnt bother using them. Location was amazing however so for the sake of one night it was ok - any longer no

Pretty good hostel, I had a good time. Any hostel in the middle of bath will be a good location, it's very small and everything is nearby! The bathrooms were a long way from my room which was a pain, but other than that I have no complaints!
Excellent location, a lot nicer than a lot of the other St. Christophers hostels around. Lovely staff. Bathrooms weren't too good but other than that a great hostel!
The showers are not really good.

The staff and location were amazing, but the facilities lacked enough I wont stay here again. Main problem: the showers which sprayed water everywhere while needing to be pumped to stay on. Least pleasant experience of my life. Beds were very uncomfortable and duvets and pillows were too thin. Lockers don't even fit a standard hikers backpack. Not at all what I've come to expect from St Christopher's hostels - and this is my 4th one! Very disappointed.
Really nice hostel, friendly staff and helpful, really well situated in Bath. The only inconvenients would be the toilets and showers (which are mixed) and their cleanness but I think in many hostels it is not that great.
I can only say the hostel is a good value for the money. It's on top of a bar (Belushi's) so it can get quite noisy on the weekends. The only thing resembling a kitchen is a fridge, microwave and electric kettle, but they don't have a sink nor even cups... It's clearly a party hostel. Cleanliness was OK overall, breakfast quite good (though served from 7am-9am), and good internet. Location is pretty central, having the Roman Baths just 5 blocks away.
If your lucky enough to stay in the private double room then your in for a treat. A beautiful very large room ( better then hotels!). Lovely staff and location to.
This place was really inexpensive, but that was clearly for good reason. I had to pay to leave my bag in a secure place during the day, since I arrived in the morning before I could check in and there are only very small locking baskets in the room (provided you bring your own lock) anyway. The mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on in my life, the faucet sprayed water everywhere in the bathroom besides the sink and the showers were ice cold.
No common area. Just the bar where they expect you to spend more money. The lower bunks have no space so you can't even sit up.
I really liked this hostel. It's above a cool little bar. Internet worked really well in the rooms.
Bathroom facilities are very poor. Shover is uncomfortable with irrregulable temperature and strength of water. Shover and toilets are at the same room. Chill-out room is dirty and unpleasant with a tabaco smell in it. There are no furniture in the room except of the beds.
So crowded. I don't know why they chose Red as a main color, the red bed sheet and red curtain. When i lived there, i felt some kind of pleasure maybe resulting from the color. Also the bathrooms are lack and small.
This hostel was ok. The staff was fantastic and location was great, but the facilities were a little disappointing. The common room was upstairs in the attic so wasn't all that convenient to get to, it was easier to just get to the bar next door. They don't have a kitchen either. The rooms are good though, and the bar downstairs, which is where I ended up spending most of my time, is good.
Best aspect of the hostel was the location in the city centre, only a short walk from all the major attractions and bars. Worst aspect was the shower/toilet facilities. First of all they are unisex, not everybody is comfortable with that. Were not cleaner than a public restroom (in fact I have been in public restrooms that were in better shape). Belushi's bar was no fun at all and it is way too expensive for what they offer, especially the food.
Easy to find, friendly staff, stayed in the 10 bed dorm, was clean and spacious, good wifi, only negative was the wait to use the bathrooms or showers. But good value for money! Would stay here again
Pretty good hostel, especially considering how cheap it is. Pros: Location - within walking distance from most attractions (then again Bath is pretty small) Friendly staff who were always up for a chat and a beer Cons: No kitchen for guest use. Literally no kitchen. Big con Common room is a pain in the ass to get to (up 4 flights of stairs). Rarely had people in it
I really enjoyed my stay at St Christopher's Inn in Bath
