Great location, such a good value for money! The breakfast is simple but enought to fill you up. Dorm and facilities were very clean and the staff friendly If you're looking for something simple, clean and cheap, this is the place ! Advice : Take the earplugs at the reception

I felt mislead as I paid for what I thought was a room with 6 people sharing. When I found the room, I noticed 12 people were staying in it. I checked my paperwork and noticed it said '6 beds' and I can only assume this is referring to 6 bunk beds (which technically is still 12 beds). I was not keen on sharing with 11 other people and unfortunately slept only about 2 hours though I lay in the bed for almost 9 hours as the door to our room slammed throughout most of the night and morning.

This is one of the lower quality St. Christopher's hostels, with much of the building feeling a little bid outdated and old. But it's in the perfect location to explore the Bath attractions, and an easy stumble back from a decent strip of pubs, so for the price for a base in Bath it's a decent value. The bar and hostel are separated, and the common area is on the top floor so it impedes hostel socializing. For Bath, this is an ok place to stay, if only for lack of other budget options.

Fantastic location and very polite staff, but the hostel needs a good going over with a duster and scrub. The bathrooms especially are in a poor state of cleanliness. There's also a lot of noise from the street and the pub downstairs. Convenient as a place to crash but not much more.

Good location and staff were nice especially Steph... The beds were really bad- very creaky which made sleeping impossible... Showers were not great either and no real place to relax. The kitchen exists of a microwave. Bar downstairs is quite good.

The location is good. The staff is very kind and helpful. The bar is near by the bedrooms so it's a little noisy at night but which also make it convinient to get food and drink. I met several interesting roommates there.....sooooooo happy~!

The first night we booked reservations online and on arrival found them to be overbooked. The staff found us accommodations at the YMCA. Afterwards we stayed 2 nights at St. Christophers. Our first night was in a private room with a shower. The room was great except it was very cold- we found out that evening that no heat went to that room. Staff brought us extra blankets but the cold was still a bummer. The second night was in a 6-bed dorm and was adequately heated.

Bathrooms were very busy and damp. Beds were fine but others staying in our room left lights on and were quite loud. Would not stay here longterm

I've stayed here before and will definitely stay here again. The location is great (a block away from the Abbey/Baths) plus the wifi worked throughout the hostel, and there is a great chillout room where you can watch movies on a TV. Free breakfast in the morning with juice, coffee, tea, cereal, etc. and you get discounts on the food/drink at the bar downstairs. The staff are friendly and even carried my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs numerous times. Highly recommended.

Staffs were really helpful. But probably the building need some renovation. Its looks old to me. The chill out room may need some serious changes in terms of decoration and arrangement.

This hostel had more of a "manly" atmosphere to it; as two females travelling alone, we felt a bit uncomfortable living here, so we were thankful we were only staying in Bath for one night. We especially did not like the fact that the bathrooms were co-ed. Our room was small and squishy, though it was clean. However, we did appreciate the Pirates of the Caribbean linen, the warm blankets, and five pillows which were provided. The signs for the Inn needs to be clearer. I passed right by it first.

The wifi wasn't always avaliable and the staircase can be a bit tough to navigate in places, but the bar downstairs is awesome, breakfast was always plentiful and the cleaners where super friendly and polite. no kitchen though, just a few microwaves upstairs and no cutlery.

The cleanliness of the beds was questionable but the way in which the staff and management dealt with our comments was fantastic - they were most helpful and understanding. It is a great location (right in the centre of Bath) and if you are simply looking for a place to rest your head at night then this place is fine, just don't expect much in terms of the decor or atmosphere.

-wifi in common areas (may reach room) -small lockers under beds (byo large padlock). not big enough to fit bags but can put valuables. Larger paid lockers downstairs (vary from 1pound to 3pounds a day depending on how big and how long) - free breaky (toast/ceral) -great location - rooms clean enough but no atmosphere - 2 powepoints in a dorm for 12.. -party atmosphere so loud at night from bar downstairs and ppl outside - shared unisex bathrooms ok but not great - staff were nice and helpful

Hostel staff were great, the facilities were basic but clean enough and sufficient . Showers were fitted with water-saving taps which weren´t a real issue, you have to keep pressing it but no big deal. The free breakfast was good, and I found the meals in the pub some of the most reasonably priced in the town. The drink savings were great too! Overall a good stay.
