While we were there the chill out room was closed due to flooding so this changed the atmosphere of the place. Other than that the staff was great. Bathrooms could have been cleaned a bit better... trashcans were always overflowing and the floor was always wet.
great staff. overheard the staff meeting sounded spot on. did go to couple of toilets that where out of paper probably my only complaint. food was great
Felt very comfortable there. The staff was so friendly. Would definitely stay again.
The showers temperature were not able to be changed. We almost tripped several trying to go into the bathroom. The showers were very cold when we went. The top bunk cut out the light for the lower bunk. The window would not stay open we had a book holding it open. We had problems using the sockets as some would not power up and others were in bad position. The staff were really helpful giving loads of information that made our trip easier to fulfil
Good hostel. The rooms were a little small and I wish there was more of a common room but other than that, not bad. I would stay here again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us wish big smile and carried our luggage from the security room and so. But the room itself was disappointing. The linen didn't look like being washed. My friend got bitten by bugs. I didn't want to use the shower as it was not clean.
Location is superb, close to all the attractions. Hostel is quite clean but since its above a bar, it gets totally annoying at night as you can't sleep at all with the loud bass.
Great place and super price. Location is excellent, only a 2 minute walk to the centre of the action! Staff were great also. Only gripe was the showers. It's cool that they want to save water and everything by using timed push buttons, but seriously they last for about 10 seconds! Annoying as all hell, having to push the button so many times to have a decent shower.
Loved this hostel, a fantastic location to everywhere in the city, had really good food in the pub below/good deals for hostel goers and friendly staff.
Best hostel I have been to since traveling thru UK. Fun gang. Good facilities. Had a good time. really relaxed and chill.
The location was good- right in the city centre and about 10 minutes from the train station. The hostel is right above a bar though so it can get REALLY noisy on the weekends. There's free wifi which is great and breakfast was decent. The washrooms are a bit stinky but overall, the rooms were pretty clean.
Hostel was great - could do with lockers under ALL not just some of the beds though!
Great location (very central) and spacious rooms, though the hostel is a bit of a maze of staircases. Good food provided in the bar, and nearby. The staff were really helpful with organising actvities. Would stay again.
The water was so hot that it burned your skin and there was no way you could take a shower. It's the opposite sensation of taking a shower in cold water. First time in my life I experienced this sensation. The restrooms were dirty most of the time. I booked two beds in a 6-bed dorm and when we got there it was full so they changed us to another one. They don't assign a bed to you so they don't have control over the beds.
The toilet and washroom are not clear. There are only 4 plugs in 12-bed room. People on the street are like crazy at night, which is so noisy because there is a bar on ground floor.
The location is nice and the staff as well. But the shared bathrooms are pretty poor and not really clean.
The toilets are directly next to the showers - not the best in a hostel! There is no kitchen to cook (normally no problem because of the bar downstairs and you probably don't stay too long in Bath). But the hostel is clean and the rooms have quite a lot of space. And you can reach the hostel easily from the bus station and the train station.
Cleanliness of shared bathrooms was not very good. Also unisex shared bath rooms is not acceptible in my view. Our private room had a shower but no toilet. Thiz seems odd as we use tbe toilet much more than shower especially during the night. Also personal hygene of toilet rates far higher then showers. You should consider changi g shower to toilet if no space for both.
It would have helped to know that the noise level was so high at night due to the pub below. Orange juice in a.m. would be nice as would perked coffee.

nice hostel located over a pub in the middle of bath. Close to both the train and bus stations. Thanks
