Excellent location, though the door signage is kind of hidden among the buildings. Friendly staff. Would appreciate if left luggage service could be provided for free, so as most hostels do.

By far the best hostel I have stayed at. The location could not be better, the building is fun and loaded with character as well as all the modern amenities including lockers, wifi, full kitchen, clean hot powerful showers, and several busy lounge rooms. I'm trying to think of one negative so I don't seem biased, but I just can't! Can't wait to come back to Edinburgh to stay here again.

The signboard is not really obvious. Taking a shower is not very enjoyable due to ecofriendly showers. Luggage storage is not free. However, we had a good slay and the food was good.

I enjoyed my stay here. I have stayed in dozens of hostels across Europe, and this one was above average! The staff were friendly. If i return to Bath as a backpacker, I know ill be staying here again!

Good location and great large rooms. Quite loud from the street at night and cold showers were the worst thing!!

Stayed in January main heater in dorm room was broken so room was unbearably cold. Told staff every night that heater was broken and they said they would 'look at it' but nothing was done. Lower bathrooms very cold not heated like the tope bathrooms, then the toilets flooded and so the whole bathrooms was out of order for 24 hours so had to use bathrooms upstairs. Breakfast good, staff friendly, beds fine, excellent locations.

Centrally located, great value hostel. There was a little noise from the street and occasionally from the bar below but didn't disturb my sleep. Also had a chilled loungeroom up on the top floor which was great for relaxing. watching movies/tv etc. I'd recommend this place for a good value place in Bath.

My 2nd stay here. It was fun but quite dead. Belushi's was usually busy with an interesting crowd which made it easy to meet people. Girls dorm was a treat with hairdryer and straightener! Nice location & helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and many of them were staying in the hostel themselves, and working in the bar downstairs. Breakfast was basic (toast, spread, cereal, coffee, tea) and decent. Rooms were clean and not too cramped. There were cages below the beds which could be locked if you have a padlock, however no other form of locker. Common room had games, DVDs and always had someone in there (generally a staff member). I would stay here again.

great location and good breakfast. showers not so great: could not adjust the temperature and the water in the shower I had was just below scalding hot. only one outlet that I could find in the 12 person dorm and it was hidden behind a bunk, so not really accessible. staff was friendly as well

It's clean and not bad, but the chill-out room is on the highest floor, which is not very convenient. At the same time, you need to pay to rent a flim or a game. In a word, it doesn't have the atmosphere of a hostel for young people. In addition, the facilities in the bathroom are not so good.

quite pricey for what you get but OK if you're a party animal. Bar is right downstairs.

The biggest disadvantage is there is no self-catering facilities.

This hostel is nicely located in walking distance from all the main attractions, which is good. However, I would highly reccomend that you grab the free ear-plugs at the ront desk because you can hear loud people running the streets at night. One specific downfall was that I nearly frooze to death while sleeping in my room that night. It was so cold. The heater only provided a decent amount of heat to one end of the room, which was where another girl was sleeping.

My only issue was the smell in the bathroom smelt a little like sewage
