The staff was extremely helpful & cheerful. Enjoyed my short stay there & will definitely recommend it to other budget travelers.
Very nice facilities and rooms. The bar area is cool, pretty social and the events they throw, especially the walking tour, are incredible. The location is a bit of a walk but since Bruges is so small it is not a big deal. Just know it is about 1.5 miles from the train station so be prepapred to take a bus. I would stay here again though!
Nice Hostel with great location! The breakfast was amazing! I really recommend this hostel !

I don't think anyone could argue that this place has the greatest facilities .. But the common area down stairs with the bar makes it a great place to meet other people. The staff we're really nice and the WiFi was speedy, so I'd recommend it!
We had a room directly over the bar, which was extremely loud, so we could not sleep at all. The toilet facilities were not clean and two toilets were closed over the whole weekend. There was not hot water in the showers. The bar and the staff was nice.

The hostel was in a nice location, outside of the very very center of town, but only a short walk to get to the really touristy areas. Besides the unwelcoming receptionist and the lack of electrical outlets, my stay was rather enjoyable. The downstairs has a nice bar with somewhat affordable beers and a nice atmosphere. I was traveling alone and met some very cool people here!
Loved my stay here. The bar and cheap drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is great and it is very easy to meet lots of wonderful people. Location is great with lots of little pubs and restaurants close by.
The hotel is conveniently located to the centre of Bruges, and let's be honest, anywhere would be convenient in Bruges. A 5-10 minute walk to Burg square. The reception is in a different building to some of the room, which I first thought was a bit annoying but in the end was a great thing, as the bar as in the other building. I didn't have any noise problems at all. The beds in my 10 bed mixed dorm where good, with privacy curtains. The bathrooms were well situated and large and bright.
Did the beer tasting with Kai awesome guy and fun tour, the bar had some very tasty beers on tap and bottled. Atmosphere was awesome, great location." F***ing fairytale city " haha
Overall OK-ish. Wouldn't stay there ever again. Rooms were ok, the cage for luggage was a good way to secure your belongings. A few things really really let it down. The bathroom was disgusting, the smell was awful for the entire time i was there, like rotten stuff in the drains. There was one shower between 12 that only had cold water the first time I used it. The wifi is very inconsistent, most of the time it didn't work, even in the reception. Would be so easy for them to fix these problems.

Really great location, close to the main square, attractis and all the best food. Loved the Bar,very chilled atmosphere, awesome range of music, cheap beer and the beat drink specials, the longest happy hour ive ever seen 10am-10pm. Rooms were clean and tidy, cosy but enough space. Only one toilet and one shower on each level, not ideal but was fine and everyone managed.Loved our stay, loved Bruges
Good hostel. Very poor wifi as did not work the whole stay..
The rooms stayed in had a pungent smell to it. Can't put a finger on what it is but I imagine the washbasins in the room have something to do with it. The bathrooms need a rethink or revamp. Lockers in the rooms would be nifty to have as well.
Atmosphere of the hostel was fantastic, the bar and the common area was the coolest I have ever been in. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hostel was within easy walking distance of anything.
I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to have fun and meet lots of people. This hostel had an awesome bar with very cool and friendly staff who are easy to get to know. They have really good beer selection and there seem to be a lot of young fun people there. The rooms are very cramped and small but they have some better beds that are very large and they have good places to lock up backpacks to keep stuff safe.
Happy people. Lovely bartender. Nice place.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Bauhaus Hostel sports an excellent lounge where you can stay, relax and have some drinks. The hostel is quite noisy, so it's not the right place if you want to have some rest, but it's the perfect place for having fun! Breakfast is really good, the lounge and staff are excellent!
Enjoyed the old countryhouse look of the hostel, made me feel right at home. And I am a big fan of curtains for privacy on the bed. But there was no kitchen and there was a really yucky smell in our part of the hostel and I would of liked to of been a bit closer to the centre of town.
I had a great stay at St Christopher's Inn, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.
