Right off the bat, the people working at the counter were super friendly and talkative, which is always a nice thing to experience right after a long journey. They gave us all the information we needed and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us. The hostel itself was easy to find, very close to a train station, and the website had very clear and straightforward directions on how to get there. It was as clean as you can expect a hostel to be and it felt very safe and welcoming.

Pretty decent big hostel with all the facilities you could need. Only one gripe with our room though. There are bright lights on the landing/walkway where all the rooms are. The window of the room faces out on to this and the light pours in making it very difficult to sleep.

This place was decent. Very large, but in a convenient location- by Gare du Nord station. Really liked the beds with the privacy curtain. This is a chain so they are quite large. it is difficult to meet people here. most people that arrive come in groups. not the best place for solo travelers. Some staff members are really great. then you have the staff members that see this as a job and get overwhelmed and irritated with the number of people that crowd around the reception desk.

We're very pleased to see you had a great stay with us! The buffet breakfast is a great addition isn't it?!

I needed a place to stay before heading out to CDG in the morning, and this suited my needs perfectly. The staff were excellent, no complaints. Breakfast was great. Building security was good, but bring your own lock (standard for backpacking). Main complaint was that there was loud music going on well into the night in the bar. I wear earplugs, but other patrons might not be able to deal with that. Also, the building was extremely humid all through the night.

Great hostel. Loved the Pub and the night club. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The beds were amazing. Didn't like the bathrooms, very cramped and easily flooded. The location of the hostel is very close to the Du Nord train station, so it's handy for those traveling by train. But it's not the nicest region and didn't look like it was 100% safe at night.

The staff was great - friendly and helpful! The cleanliness of the bathrooms, however was really wanting. I really dislike showers next to toilettes especially when the drainage is not good! The heat in the rooms and bathrooms was also quite oppressive.

I only stayed one night as it's conveniently located next to Gare du Nord for the airport train. The rooms are comfy and well suited to the traveller with individual power sockets and bed curtains for privacy. Slightly noisy from the night life close by and the neighbourhood is a little dodgy, though will stay again for convenience sake :)

The hostel is good...I liked the infrastructure, facilities and the service too. The bar in the night is good: music, food, drinks and atmosphere. The hostel has tourism services and worth it. The only thing that I don't liked is the location of the hostel, because the neighborhood seems to be dangerous at night, many strange people on the street, but is very close to a big metro station/train station..So...is good for locomotion.Overall I liked!

If you don't bring an alarm clock to wake up don't worry, most of the people in shared rooms are impolite and they make lots of sounds since 4 AM, I don't get why they have a sink in the rooms, it's very noisy.. Also the air conditioner on summer is not enough if you are sleeping on the first level of the bed: you should be aware of that if you want to sleep well..

Only here for a night and right next to the train station which was perfect for me. If I was staying here longer there are better locations in Paris. Breakfast was good, loved the curtains, outlets, and lights for the bed. Only had one bathroom in the room and no other toilets on the floor. Worked well for a stopover.

Everything is find but a lady was snoring so hard all the night. And so I couldn't sleep and got sick. :( the shower facility could be improved but at least it's hot water.

We're pleased you loved the facilities and had a great time in our hostel, but we're sorry you landed a dorm-mate that snored, it's never nice but unfortunately there's not too much we can do about it, however we do offer complimentary ear plugs at reception to help our guests sleep better. Kind Regards, The Team at St Christopher's, GDN.

One of the best hostel I have ever stayed. Just 2 mins walking from main railway station Gare Du Nord. Hostel is very clean and best part is common area which is way better than lot of clubs.

I am a novice using hostels, and I would come back. Gare du Nord, a very big train station, looks a rough and overwhelming place, be aware and use common sense. Read the agreement and instructions from hostel. No AC. It can be noisy, but nothing that earplugs won't solve.

Very long check in / check out lines at time which can be a pain. Other than that, amazing stay!

This hostel was really understaffed. They had only 3 people managing an overwhelming amount of guests. After waiting an hour to be checked in our room wasn't clean (we found garbage and candy wrappers in several bunks) and both the guys and girls bathrooms were disgusting. On our 10 days of vacation this was our most expensive hostel and our least favourite. It's only pluses were the free wifi and the proximity to the train station.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologise you weren't satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and we will be sure to pass this forward for cleaning management as we absolutely pride ourselves in our hostel cleanliness. We do try our best to accommodate our clients and ensure there are always enough staff, however on occasion when we do become suddenly busy we understand the frustration in needing to wait longer to be served and we always try to move as quickly as possible.

Beds are comfortable and have curtains, 2 USB charging ports and a plug as well as a personal reading light and shelf. Lockers under the bed are sufficient for virtually any size bed. A very large hostel that is kept clean.
