Staff is very friendly at the reception, but all seem to know nothing about the city.

Location is a bit far off from the sight-seeing locations but somewhat helped by the nearby metro stations. Neighborhood might be a bit dodgy at night. Toilet and bath are not very clean. Remember to bring big padlocks for the lockers as small ones wont fit. Wi-fi is intermittent, common breakfast for hostels (cereal and bread).

The hostel is really nice, modern and clean and I liked the fact that every room is named after a Paris tourist spot :) It is a little bit far from all the sightseeing places, but there are two metro stations nearby so you can reach the city centre in about 30 minutes. The atmosphere in the hostel was cool, yet maybe a bit unpersonal. Only big minus is the fact that you have to pay for luggage storage.

Cons... This hostel is really far from everything. They won´t rent you a towel, either. You can only BUY their 10 euro towel or air dry. There is no kitchen. The bathrooms were REALLY gross by the end of the day. The elevator broke 2 out of 3 mornings I was there and my room was on the 5th floor. The food at the bar is mediocre and expensive. Pros...I liked the beds because each has its own curtain. It's a great hostel for meeting people. Great walking tour!

I needed a hostel that wouldn't destroy my bank account, and St. Chris did the job while providing a favorable experience for me. Bring a pad lock, no rent-able towels, breakfast is bread and coco crispies, free wifi with no password (in bar or lounge). Staff was cool to talk to and had a nice atmosphere to meet people. It is next to a bar (discounts for those who stay at the hostel).Close to metros and easy to find. Liked it overall. The ladders on the beds are actually sturdy too>

I think charging 3,50 for an hour of very poor internet is not right. The lock I purchased for my locker was poor quality for 5,00. I thought the discount program for the bar/restaurant was great, and the food there was quite good, reasonable prices affordable to eat there.

Pretty good for a large chain type of hostel. It is an excellent way of meeting people though via the bar, breakfast and the large rooms.

Great room for the 6 beds with ensuite bathroom. Comes with a balcony and the beds aren't bunk bed! Met some great people in the room. It was great to have meet them all but too bad no contacts were exchanged! Great place with great people! Loving it!! - Lau of Room 604!

Nice beds, they have cortins and individual lights/outlets. Like the locker but you need your own lock. No towels for hire, need to buy for expensive 10 Euros. Bathrooms are dirty and not well cleaned. Internet is free if you have your own computer. If not you have to pay 1,50 for 25 minutes and it´s terrible slow computer and internet. Want to enfasize the fact that the bathrooms are not clean enough. Dirty walls in the shower, toilets are always a mess, just terrible!

It's a bit far from the center of the city, but anyway, it's convenient to go anywhere you want in Paris by metro. The hostel locates near a canal and has a beautiful view there. They also have a very cute bar downstairs. It's a bit expensive, but considering the prices of other hostels and hotels, it's absolutely not a bad bargain. I will stay there next time I go to Paris.

A huge hostel with a lively atmosphere. The beds are very nice with a nice little touch of curtains for privacy. The location is not the most ideal, but the metro stop is only a minute walk away which takes you to everywhere.

Loved it! Felt really comfortable. Great breakfast, great place for pre-drinks and best bit was how helpful the staff are!

Would really like it if there were padlocks to rent for the storage bins.

The toilet facilities on level 5 were pretty average. The bathroom stunk And the toilets were filthy. The blame here falls on other travellers though Who obviously treated the facilities poorly.

Booked for 5 people in a 6 bed room. Our party was split 4-1 between two rooms, without even as much as an apology. Found a tick crawling in one of the beds, showers and floors in the bathrooms were both dirty. We were on the 6th floor, but the wrong side, so we had to take an elevator to the fifth, walk down a hallway, then stairs up to the 6th. So we needed keys for both the 5th and 6th floor. Just a lot of hassle for not a lot of payoff.
