I only stayed for one night, and didn't spend much time at the hostel, so security, staff and facility reviews are mostly based on a general impression. The room was very nice though, and check in/out was extremely quick and easy. Karaoke was very fun, and no one will even look at you angry for coming in to sleep at 2am on a Monday (which is nice, at some places you feel like you killed someone if you accidentally wake someone up on a week night). The location is amazing, and the price great.
Very good stay, nothing to complain about, would definitely
I've been staying here whenever I've need hostel accommodation in London for about 11 years. The fact that I keep coming back indicates that it's good though it is starting to look rather dated compared to newer hostels (those founded in the last 5 years). Bathrooms are a little grubby though I'm sure the cleaners do their best within an ageing building. I suggest that it's a prime hostel to have a thorough renovation and relaunch to reflect the changing demands of backpackers.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and excellent location. Really close to good supermarkets and London Bridge. The pub inside the hostel is really nice as well.
Really disliked it here, disappointing way to finish a great trip. They cram you into a room, there is no atmosphere, and not nearly enough faciilities for the number of people there
The hostel was not clean at all, and it was way overpriced. The beds were comfortable but there was a mouse in our dorm. I'm glad I only stayed one night.
This hostel was great! It is a a great spot right near London Bridge, the Bank district, and the markets. The people were fun and atmosphere was fun. The staff was welcoming as well. I would stay here again if I return to London.

Nevertheless I fully paid my hostel fee online in advance, they asked my credit card to write down all its info and told me otherwise they wont let me to check in. I asked the bartender (for the first time) "Do you have cafe?" He shouted: "You order and pay on bar and get your cafe on bar". I didn't know they don't bring cafe to your table and it was my first time I was asking it. toilets were dirty. For 8 beds there was only two plugins. Our door was broken for two days. No lockers in room.
The location is nice, but the bathrooms are gross. The bedrooms Are okay but nothing special. There is no kitchen, a kettle and a microwave maybe...and the prices near New Years were ridiculous, to expensive for what you get. The wifi wasn't the best, the breakfast was nice. Overall it was okay. I wouldn't wanna stay there again
Location amazing, staff really helpful, except for one night, when a guy brought back to the room we shared with 16 people a 40 year old woman from London, and the reception said they couldn't do anything, even though it's a policy not to bring strangers in. 6 of us left the room at 3AM, it was just too awkward. This is bad for the hostel's security, in Barcelona the same thing happened, a tourist hooked up with a local and when we woke up we realized she stole from everyone in the room.
The check in as always is great. Staff are good and once your head is down you get a nice sleep. The place in general needs a lot of money spending on it as although it may be clean, it still looks filthy, especially the showers and toilets. If something is broken it needs to be replaced. People are walking about aimlessly looking for sockets and some rooms have 2 sockets between 14 beds etc. When busy, there's a lack of areas to go to, but on a quiet night, more room, more sockets and better.
Great place to stay just for a night, although I like the St Christopher hostels in general :)
Excellent place! Great location and safe! Everything was clean and new! Awesome atmosphere as well! Totally recommend it!
They now have multiple sockets in the large dorms, which is like Christmas to those with devices. The beds are super comfy and the cheap rooms are pretty big.
Good hostel and location

Great location - walking distance to all main tourist sights, very helpful staff, the bar has a great atmosphere, rooms were clean enough, bathrooms could be a little nicer but were fine. Overall a great stay and very good value for money.
Have stayed here before and liked it, forgot to read the reviews this time...ALLERGIC people beware of the mice in the rooms!!!!!Woke up first night and thought why it was hard for me to breath, then started hearing the scratching noise and saw one mouse. Someone had some cheese left in the luggage... Location is perfect easy access to most places and the rooms were big compared to some other London hostels. Comfy duvets!
About half the staff is friendly and helpful the other half is not. This hostel will Nickel and Dime you, they will try to get you to pre register and pay thru PayPal. This charges an additional fee. They say they rent towels, but did not have any available for over a day. However they will see you one for 10 pounds. The luggage storage is lockers that you have to pay for. The hostel could be a little cleaner compared to the others that I have stayed at.
Very good location and cool instalations, but i think private rooms are small for the price...
It was nice and neat. no major problems. but just tiny details make the difference between good and the best... still like it though :)
