Had a sick time, such a good location, cheers

Excellent location, right in front of the pier. The bar downstairs is fun and some nights of the week it can be the best bar you are gonna find with good deals and open late.

Would be a great hostel, but the wifi doesn't work, and everyone knows it. Everyone I talked to couldn't get it working either, travellers need wifi to plan.

It didn't affect me too much but there should be a note on the room(s) above the bar as very loud music played until 2am on Monday which would be rubbish if you were working the next day! There are no kitchen facilities and there should really be some sort of bath mat in the shower rooms as water just goes everywhere when busy.

Great place to stay with lots to do, Both the Manager and Staff are friendly and helpful, always trying to help. Rooms are clean and quite big, there is a security and lockers are provided for free. the bar downstairs offers good deals on Booze & food. It does get crazy at night especially on the weekend but GOOD crazy. if you are young and wanna have a great time i really do recommend this place. You sure are gonna make lots of new friends and have a time of your life.

Good facilities and it's nice the bathroom is shared in the own room. The staff it's pretty busy with the bar and somethimes it takes long time they pay you attention.

Cool hostel, we spend there one night and we did not have any problem. The beach and the center are close. We liked the bar as well, we had there a good breakfast.

Hostel well situate! Just in front of the beach and the bus station.

Lovely place to stay for an affordable price. Bathrooms only shared between people in the same room which is convenient and makes it less dirty. If you have a padlock, you can even lock your stuff under the bed but for me without using it nothing was stolen, not even my laptop. :) Absolutely stunning location, room overlooked to the Pier :) Would definitely go back (and had been back to party since staying overnight :))

We booked a private room to catch up on some sleep however, our room was right on top of the speakers of the bar which vibrated the room and to make it worse, the air conditioner from next door sounded like a plane taking off 24 hrs a day. The staff were never helpful and were more concerned with talking to the fellow staff who were not working yet spent their days lazing around the bar and drinking. Knowing the St Christopher's reputation, I was very disappointed. And the internet NEVER worked

The internet sucks. it is as if they did not even have internet. It was quite dirty, but the staff was awesome and the location is perfect.

Stayed for two nights. Its good value for the price. Excellent location. It wasn't possible to lock our door. We told the staff and they promised, they would get it fixed, of course. In return they offered to keep our luggage save, which is fair enough. Cleanliness (especially the walls) could be improved. Gets very loud at night because of the bar downstairs, so having a sound sleep is recommended.

It was a surprise to have no fridge

I have used a number of hostels over the years, but none as clean and as well set up as St Christophers. I stayed in a six bed dorm, but the beds were comfortable, the linen clean and the bathroom well equipped and spotless. Great atmosphere downstairs in the bar with TV screens, food (a little expensive) and a regular bar.

The hostel is good value for money. The only disappoint we had was that the included breakfast was only toast and rice0 bubbles and of which the staff did not maintain well so were in short supply.

Location is idealistic. Beds are good. Facilities are mediocre. Breakfast is included — which is a good value. Cons: Queues are extremely long to check-in, wifi doesn't work on all floors and sometimes hangs. N.B. It's cheaper to book online, rather than paying at the door. For the location and value I would highly recommend it.

I already reviewed this hostel. Sketchy internet. Lots of lip service about the internet getting fixed. No results

This hostel is right on the main street on Brighton Beach, fantastic location. Had a 2bed private mid-week and was reasonably priced. En suite included which was nice as well. But the location makes it.

Handy location for catching an early bus in the morning...but the music in the bar downstairs was so loud at night and considering it was mid week and there was no one in the bar it was kinda annoying but other than that had everything we needed!

Wi-Fi was not working most of the time and very slow when it was working, even in the common area. This is a big deal to travelers, who need to use internet for travel planning. This hostel is a fine place in all other ways, but they need to put the effort in to provide Wi-Fi, as they have been stating they would or have done for weeks/months. This shows a real lack of concern for customers by the management. Importantly, this put strain on the staff, who had deal with unhappy guests.
