Excelent as all st Christopher inns, though not as good as the Paris one. The only downside is that theres no WC outside the rooms, not even at the bar. The staff is great but tricked me into paying 3 euros to go to their club next door promissing free entrance or 2 for 1 beers, but there was no such a thing and refused to give the money back. Probably a miss communication at their part instead of a scam, but left a terrible impression on an otherwise excelent stay.

All the things are excellent. Kind staffs, friendly enviroment, good shower, nice breakfast. There is one small detail about the deposit of the key. One staff asked deposit when checked in . When checked out , the other staff said there is no deposit. Anyway, it is only 1 EU. All in all, an excellent hostel for backpackers.

I read reviews prior to booking this hostel. I read how friendly the staff were but this wasn't the impression I got. They were okay, didn't really feel too welcoming. Besides that, everything was beyond exceptional. The location is fantastic, it is close to everything. The red light district is literally behind the hostel. Overall i would definitely recommend this place for other travellers.

Very nice accommodation for someone visiting Amsterdam. You're so close to everything and you have the entire city at your fingertips. The bar was nice and had good drink specials for residents and the free breakfasts was a nice touch. They also picked people up from the Hostel for city walking tours which I really liked too. Once again, I'll reiterate: great location, fun, competitively priced.

it's an upbeat and dynamic place that perfectly tie in with amsterdam's culture and atmosphere. the location (~30 sec walk to red light district), the rooms, the bar, and the free breakfast are fantastic, though the bar will probably keep you awake until after midnight, just like any other place in amsterdam.

Internet was not working in the rooms, which for the price we paid. was very disappointing. Our room was very small, and even if we kept the window open all the time (which was also disappointing because of the noise) there was a smell of humidity and close spaces. The other thing was the noise. Our room had the window just over a little backyard full of screaming kids the whole day and also for part of the evening. I defenetely won't go back there, especially for the price that i paid.

St. Christopher's at the Winston is a fabulous Amsterdam hostel. I have stayed in many throughout the city and the cleanliness, discounts and other amenities are absolutely worth the few extra euros. The entire place (hostel & bar) have been well maintained and appear new. The decor is trendy, the staff friendly, the secure storage lockers convenient, the breakfast delicious, the rooms spacious, bathrooms clean and the art gallery dorms and toiletries on the pre-made beds were added treats!

We were pleased with the hostel. It is in a very convenient location and is a great value for your money. the only down side, is the unavoidable noise from the neighbours! But theres not much you can do about that. I would not hesitate to come back!

They are nice, I got a private room for 5, it was very clean and very quiet at night, very very close to the main street, next to red light district and the train station. I don't smoke, and it bothers me a lot, but in the hostel I couldn't even smell nothing, awesome!
