Perfect location, good foods, good staffs. I recommend for everyone!

Hostel is dirty and old. Good wifi connection. Excellent location and security. Not a place for people who is looking for a peaceful quiet night.

The reception is really noisy because of the bar next to it. Also the hostel is so big, that the guys in the reception are always busy And you feel like you shouldn't ask a lot of information Because they have plenty of things to do.

The Winston was a good, but not great hostel. The rooms have their own bathroom, which is nice. There are lockers underneath the bed for clothes. The atmosphere doesn't necessarily gel with some though, because, while it is a party hostel, it's kind of an abrasive atmosphere with really loud music playing most of the time. I thought it was a little difficult to meet new people, because it was hard to talk over the music. Also, no internet in rooms, only in bar area and on fourth floor couches.

It was perfect for me and since i traveling alone i found it a good place to meet people and have a good time. Downfall was that my locker was broken... And i had to use the ones downstairs for my valuables (which cost extra). I let the staff know about this issue and they came up right away to fix it which they did to some degree. Unfortuntely it still did not work properly so i used the ones downstairs. Otherwise breakfast was more than fair... Eggs, cereal, yogurt, cheeses, breads, meats...

Love the st christophers chain. Haven't had a bad experience yet. The place is clean, meet a lot of people in the bar

No common areas except for the bar downstairs ;(

the staff is super helpful , the place is super if you want to have a unforgettable memories this is the place p.s. only bad thing is the weak WiFi , only accessible in the bar area good place to spend some time Highly recommended to everybody

This is a fantastic hostel. Extremely cheap but reamins its quality. Excellent location, one block away from the red light district but very safe. 10 minutes walk to the train station. Cheap but yummy food. Hot and friendly stuff. Clean room. Club next door that you can dance your faces off. I would strongly recommend it!

We had the double private room and obviously paid quite a bit more for it. The room was tiny and there was graffiti and pretty vile posters all over the walls with graffiti, etc. The bathroom light wasn't working and it was the size of a broom cupboard with water pressure that was so weak it almost wasn't worth using. The location is fantastic but the whole hostel stinks like pot but perhaps this is normal in Amsterdam. The staff were pretty blunt and rude at reception, but the bar staff great.

Perfect stay! We had some awsome days in Amsterdam and enjoyed the central location of St. Christophers!

It was a really great experience. Walking distance from Centraal Station. The staff was very helpful. Though it took some time for them to get our beds, they had lockers where we could store our bags. Will surely recommend this hostel.

My stay there was excellent. The location is perfect, as it is in the city center, 2 blocks away from Damplein. The personel was very polite and helpful. The atomosphere is excellent, it is very clean and they have a good bar and restourant.

A very commercial hostel in a convenient location. Stuffs are generally not very nice though.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff were so helpful -- I was booked in for three nights and I would have had to stay in three separate rooms because it was a busy weekend. They noticed this on their system and by the time I checked in I was in one room for all three nights! A simple gesture but something which truly meant a lot. The facilities are clean, bed linens changed every day, the locations can't be beat and the hotel bar had some solid beers on tap as well. 5 stars, would go back for sure!

Me and My friend stayed at St. Christophers at the Winston while backpacking. The staff there are absolute legends!! I wouldn't even go back to amsterdam if I couldn't stay there. Also the food is amazing and as a guest you receive discounts on food and drinks, which is very helpful if you're on a budget. Great time in Amsterdam! I'll definitely be a repeat guest!

I thought the location was great and that you were able to meet you new people as well have a discount on the food and drinks there. The staff was helpful as well and also were there when you needed them. I would definitely come back to this place and the price is also affordable too.

In general, it was a good experience. Location is quite good. However, the bathroom was terrible because the water flew on the floor due to the pipe. I wish they had cleaned carefully.
