There was no running hot water in the room. The room was very small and claustrophobic. Difficult to sleep due to proximity to train station and old style windows meant noise from outside was more evident.

The hotel is well located. Even the room was very small there were everything I needed for having a good rest after long days walking in London. Also the staff was nice and friendly.

We arrived early and were happy that they said we could put our belongings in the room. It was small but we only needed it to rest at night. Since our train was not until 6:00 pm we left our luggage by the office and everything was fine when we retrieved it. For the price we were satisfied.

The best part about St George is that it is quite close to Paddington Station. Beyond that though, it doesn't have much else to offer. It's cramped, cluttered, and not particularly clean. The staff are friendly enough, but somewhat unskilled at their jobs. My room was quite small - the door hit the bed and couldn't open fully. The bathroom was a bit dodgy, and I didn't feel inclined to shower there. I don't know how the price compares, but it's probably not bad for London.

Hi, my friends and me stayed in St. George's and we are absolutely satisfied. The staff was great, very friendly and ready to help in any time with anything :)) Location is great, everything is around you, from buses to tube. hotel itself is worth the money. Security has never been questioned, and we trusted the staff by all means. I would recommend this hotel to anyone:) We hope to meet again!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The rom had everything we needed. Including a bathroom just big enough to fit one regularly small sized person (double room ensuite). No noise from the street during night even with the balcony door open :) From the hotel we could easily walk to Oxford street, other places we wanted to get to. Which I see as a big plus. Wish there was a sign we could hand on the door to cancel breakfast though. Didn't have high expectations, and therefore I didn't get disappointed ;)

Clean hotel wich got a good location, but nothing happens on the hotel it self, in other words no interaction between the people around. The staff were ok, did their job and that's all, no plus added on the service.

The people that work there are nice, but the hotel is just so so. We stayed in a room in the underground floor, and we indeed heard when the train passed nearby. The breakfast is brought to the room. Although some may find this an interesting thing, it is quite annoying that they wake you up every day at 8:00 to deliver the breakfast to the room. The location however, is very good, and we paid a good price.

Simple rooms and average service. I still highly recommend this place if you are only looking for place to stay for a couple of nights. Great location near tube, bus and pubs and a 10 min. walk from Oxford street.

Stuff are friendly. I booked a standard single room with shared bathroom. However, when I arrived they put me to a bigger ensuite room with double bed which was a good surprise for me. Bedding was clean. Although the breakfast was not good it did the work. Internet connection was OK. Oveall, this hotel is a good value for money.

This hotel is quite all right, and definitely good value for money. The people who leave bad reviews do not understand they if they are stingy, they won't get a 5-star place! I often travel to London and look for cheap single rooms in different hotels. The price for a single room here is one of the cheapest in London. Yes, the room is really tiny, but it has everything you need: TV, good Wifi connection, hair-drier, kettle, small fridge etc .. and a breakfast brought to your door. So, OK overall
