The manager did not acknowledge our voucher on our arrival. After some discussion and persuasion we were welcome to stay, as the lodge had vacancies. After two nights we were asked to change room because another guest needed three beds, which we happen to have in our room. The shower had water pressure only at times and therefore it must be left on the floor to pick up the pressure. The second room was steamingly hot and the heat could only be adjusted from the kitchen.

The hostel is very nice and clean and is located in a nice area, of course it is not useful if you want to visit central london, since it takes more than 30 min to get to waterloo station, but if you want to visit kingston or its neighbourhoods it's perfect. Just be careful if you tell the staff you want breakfast: if you say yes they will come and knock at your door at 8 am to tell you that the breakfast (which is really good)is ready and they won't stop knocking until you open the door!! ...

Hi, St. Georges Lodge is a very convenient location for us as we have relatives in the area, that aside, we found it to be very pleasant nice staff and above all CLEAN, it is not a hotel so to expect hotel timmings would be totaly unfair, ideal for what it is, a hostel b&b then out for the day. big problem for me was car parking
