FILTH. DISGUSTING PLACE. Never seen any place that DIRTY. Absolutely abhorrent. Also homeless people hanging about. Worst hostel I have ever been to in my life. Id rather sleep on the beach next time.

The worst hostel I ever experienced. I stayed with a friend in a double room. The room only contained a double bed, no window, not even space for our luggage next to the bed (about 40cms on two sides of the bed, rest was wall). We had to open the door at night to have enough air in our room to breathe properly. There wasn\'t a key for any room so we couldn\'t lock. Toilets were average, showers quite dirty. Kitchen was fully equiped and okay. Would never recommend, even though location was perfect.

I am 62 and had bought a motor bike off ebay so just needed a room for 1 night, the character of the building is fantastic as is the atmospheer of the place As it happens I was the only person staying in the hostel on this occasion but it has a tele, darts, pool table plus numerous games to keep you occupied. My only gripe was that the shower cubicles looked as if they had not been cleaned since the last guest had left in late 2011, but if I had wanted a shower I would have cleaned it myself.
