Besides the clean of the room made by a nice housekeeper(Kathy) and the nice garden, there s nothing worth to stay in this hostel.Awful and dirty kitchen with nothing,no breakfast, too cold everwhere, corridors and common rooms. All the gates and doors are open,we only have the security of our room key.i don t recommend it....

There nothing really good to say about this place. Rooms are super cold (they have no heater), hostel super dirty, staff super weird and not very kind. If you are looking for a simple place, oh for shower and bed... Believe... It's till not the place. They are not ready to be an hostel! Just terrible.

Just a nightmare! Super cold and dirty rooms. Weird staff. Nothing really fun to do in there. Horrible shower. Terrible hostel. Don't spend your money with this place.

The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable, but for that price it's to be expected. Definitely need to update the curtains ours were dirty and ripped. And the shower keep filling up with water which was frustrating

Restrooms need to be more clean and should be provided with soap and shampoo at least.

Neat and clean

The staff were really lovely and helpful. Also there's not an area for people to meet and talk which kind of sucks if you're traveling by yourself looking to meet people.

it was a good value and the staff was friendly.. Could use a little improvement on replacing a few ceiling tiles in room and maybe adding a chair to sit on, but I realize their low price probably preclude doing much. Staff was friendly and location was convenient.

We showed up with an extra person and the staff moved us from the dorms to a private ensuite. It made the trip so much better. Thanks so much!

My trip to St. Vincent Guest House was okay for the money spent. Please provide a better internet connection and clean common rooms. One bathroom for 16 people is not enough.

This place is so full of character and charm and the people are really nice. It is definitely for those who favor character over luxury. I stayed in a female dorm for 25 dollars. I had a more modern bed and was very comforttable. Not sure how the metal framed beds were. Wifi was limited. The shower was ok, but definitely not sparkling new. The place was clean but aged. Great coffee shop across the street, great courtyard and endless porches.

The building is a little old and need some improvements. The staff was excellent, they are polite and did everything super fast. The room is clean and the bed is good. The pool was a little dirty.

Very quirky hostel, great history and the pool was nice. Rooms are a bit dated but overall great value for money and would stay again. Staff were lovely except for the housekeeping guy coming to strip our beds before 11am while we were trying to get dressed and ready to check out even after I had said we would be ready at 11am to go he still insisted on being in the room to strip the beds. Make sure you try the pizza on site and also visit District Donuts just a few blocks down.

Provide a computer for email. Provide coffee. Provide a second bathroom, at least a commode, for the 16-bed dorm room.

St Vincent's was a lot of fun to stay at. Super friendly and helpful staff and a nice atmosphere about the place. Kitchen facilities weren't great in terms of lacking utensils and dish soap. But overall I'd recommend the place and would visit again!

Great value for money and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Also great location being close to CBD with free parking. Fridge, TV & wifi included which we made good use of but wifi was a little bit slow.

Stayed at St. Vincent's for 3 nights with my sister and brother in law. We ended up getting the 3 person guest room and we couldn't have been more pleased. We've been in our fair share of hostels and this one was really a pleasant surprise. The staff was really friendly and made themselves available to guests. Our room was exactly what we needed- a clean, comfortable and cool place to sleep in (with a personal bathroom). Overall, this place was an excellent choice- great price, great location

For the location St V offers great value for money. And the staff at the desk were the most helpful I've ever experienced at a hostel, I'd definitely recommend to a friend.
