A modern hostel that is very clean. Good place to just chill and relax. Not a party hostel for those looking for that. Not right in Copacabana, but close enough that it doesn't matter (1 metro stop away). I totally reccomenend this hostel (I've stayed in 3 others in Rio).

The breakfast: Could be till eleven at least at the weekends. Second or bigger toaster. Why did we get cheese and ham only every second day? Juice was often not available for the later ones Staff: sometimesthe times given by the staff were not correct (travel times ) Air condition: First it was not on, Then very cold, then off again: would be good to communicate before... air condition: First it was not ll

- in men bathroom: have to change the nozzle of the shower. Most of the water goes to the walls; - in men bathroom: there wasn´t liquid soap none of the five days; - improve the cleanness. I could see female´s hair everywhere in the floor.

Stayed here in a double room for one night. Was lovely. The air con is excellent in the room (and needed). The whole hostel is really clean. Eddie at reception is so helpful and friendly. Location is good really - near Metro, supermarket, beach and so on. Breakfast could be better.

Great place for cooling off - very helpful, friendly staff, comfortable airconditioned dorm rooms, well ventilated during the day. Bunk beds are sturdy. Very nice, large breakfasts. Quiet for sleeping, too!! Sleeping areas were away from social areas.

Such a great hostel, photos dont do it justice and dont capture the great atmosphere, sound people, brilliant staff so helpful and its a family run business which is nice. We originally booked for 2 nights and will probably stay for the 4 weeks that we have been to in Rio as we have tried other hostels in Rio and they dont match up. Its right by the metro so easy access to the beach in just a matter on minutes. Nice rooms with individual sockets, lamps, drawers and shelves etc and hairdryers!

Really nice place to stay. Although a bit far from the beaches, the atmosphere and owners/personnel make up for it by far. They'll take you out, give advise... Very easy for solo travellers.

Great value, great security, and close to the metro. My biggest complaint was the fact that the ac was only turned on at night to sleep. During the dead of summer Brazil can be like a sauna. So I would take a shower and within 5min of being in the hot room, I would be drenched in sweat.

had a great stay at the stand fast for 6 nights, the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Easy access to all the main attractions with the metro 5 min walk away. Rooms were good value with bunk beds not the triple bunks that you find in other hostels. Internet access in the rooms with two computers on the first floor. I would have been very happy to stay longer.
