Wonderful hostel. Good location. Breakfast left you a little wanting but overall can't complain for 10 euros a night.

It's a small hostel owned and run by 2 brothers Marko and George. These guys are very nice and helpful. They will recommend you the best places to visit, eat, drink and party. It was very interesting to learn about Serbian people and history from them. Location is perfect - right in the heart of Old Town, close to perfect restaurants (one is just 1 block away) and bars. So if you wanna party and get to know the most passionate nation in Europe, Belgrade an Star hostel is a place for you.

Great place to stay, thanks a lot for every tip, recommendation and favour, we had a great time! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the mezcal. See you next time in Belgrade.

Excellent and very friendly staff. Great location near Kalemegdan and good connections around the city. Would definitely stay again! Extra points for reviving my enthusiasm in darts.

Loved this hostel. It seems a bit weird outside at first b/c it's like a house but it's really a great place to stay. The beds are fine, good lockers, key to get inside the house so felt safe. It's in a great part of belgrade that has easy access to transit (on a main street). The staff is AMAZING, so fun helpful and nice -- all the qualities of great hostel staff. Marko even helped me trace some family history for me! Overall great place with great people working there. I'll be back for sure!

hotel was nice, and good location

It was great time staying there. Usually I dont plan to visit same city twice but due to good friendship with Marko & George (The owners of hostel). I will visit them soon again. The hostel is good one, providing breakfast & Marko even mmade a dinner for me twice. Both chaps are cool, friendly and caring. The common area is good one with all the games, DVDs, a big screen TV with cable. I would surely recommend to stay at Star Hostel strongly :-)

Good hostel and the staff was very helpful and kindly for everything

Great location, very friendly and charming staff, very good conditions!!!.If you are first time in Serbia I would recommend to stay there to feel safe and not to worry about anything just be secure and having a great fun !!! Definitely I will be back to Hostel Star in the future.

Staff were great. Got to watch the Rugby on the TV downstairs (aus vs NZ) since no bars were open early enough on a Sunday morning. Close to all the main attractions in the middle of Belgrade. Walking distance to most things. Not much of a party hostel if you are into that.

exceptional staff,very helpful

The hostel was spotless and in a really good location (the fortress is just about 5 minutes away). A lot of bars, shops and an excellent restaurant around the corner. Staff is very helpfull!

I enjoyed every minute of the stay there. Such a relaxed place. The staff is fantastic and although there we're some annoying people at some point in our room we still had a great time hanging out at the hostel.

Location, location, location! It's great, right next to the castle and a 5 min walk to all the main shopping streets. Staff was nice and really helpful.

This was the best hostel i stayed between budapest, belgrade, mostar and sarajevo. Realmente acogedor.

Very nice brothers both of them!! My friend was ill and one of them looked after her cause I had to go. The other brought us into the station because we were in a hurry!! So, we felt very very well treated by them. Moreover, we felt very very confortable. Thank you so much! When you are far away from home, stuffs like these are what you really apreciate.

Fantastic hostel!\ Very good location (right next to the fortress and a short walk to the city center. Staff is really helpful and knows everything about the city (including history). The hostel is also very good for meeting people. In can highly recommend Star Hostel and ione thing is for sure - I'll be back!!!
