I had a great time while staying at Star Hostel! I definitely recommend staying here when in Belgrade. Located a short walk away from the Kalemegdan Park and Knez Mihailova you can start exploring the centre of Belgrade easily. Đorđe and Marko are the perfect hosts and helped to plan my onward journey to Istanbul. There are computers with internet if like me you are travelling without a laptop. The common room is a great place to socialise and meet fellow travellers! Thanks for a memorable time!

Star hostel was fantastic value for money and the friendliness of the staff is something you would expect to be paying a lot more money for. One of the showers and door handles needed repairing, but other than this it was a fantastic hostel. I would definitely visit again.

We had an awesome stay here. Lots of great parties, in the hostel and in town. Awesome staff/owners who gave us great tips, advice, and just nice to chat with over dinner. I love the small hostel feel and hope that the guests coming here stay genuine. The breakfast is a bit lackluster but overall, awesome stay.

Very nice place to stay. Big rooms, comfortable beds. The house is full of different things, so sometines you think that see the mess, but in fact, it's full of usefull things and you can find anything you want. Very welcoming staff. They let me to check out several hours later. Nice common room. I really recommend this place to stay.

Wonderful hostel. Good location. Breakfast left you a little wanting but overall can't complain for 10 euros a night.

It's a small hostel owned and run by 2 brothers Marko and George. These guys are very nice and helpful. They will recommend you the best places to visit, eat, drink and party. It was very interesting to learn about Serbian people and history from them. Location is perfect - right in the heart of Old Town, close to perfect restaurants (one is just 1 block away) and bars. So if you wanna party and get to know the most passionate nation in Europe, Belgrade an Star hostel is a place for you.

Excellent and very friendly staff. Great location near Kalemegdan and good connections around the city. Would definitely stay again! Extra points for reviving my enthusiasm in darts.

Loved this hostel. It seems a bit weird outside at first b/c it's like a house but it's really a great place to stay. The beds are fine, good lockers, key to get inside the house so felt safe. It's in a great part of belgrade that has easy access to transit (on a main street). The staff is AMAZING, so fun helpful and nice -- all the qualities of great hostel staff. Marko even helped me trace some family history for me! Overall great place with great people working there. I'll be back for sure!
