It was awesome! a very central location near from the station. The staff is so friendly. We were 4 and it was almost like our appartment! and it's very smoker friendly...

Amazing place - I've been to a lot of hostels but this place has it all. Excellent central location, great facilities and friendly staff. Well well worth a stay.

This is the best hostel ever! It is ideal for 4 friends, and even better if you are 8 and can rent out the whole place. It has two four-people rooms, a large living room and kitchen area, and a huge bathroom which gives out on a terrasse. It is ideally located near the train station and all the attractions, plus it is smoker friendly. What else can you ask for in Amsterdam!

Kate was the best hostess I've ever had when travelling abroad. She was eager to meet us, explained the rules, showed us the good places to go to, gave us recommendations, and helped us out in so many ways - all with a great smile on her face.
This excellent service makes me want to choose stargate again when coming back to Amsterdam.

I have just got home from the stargate in Amsterdam and im missing it already. Its like being in a friends house in the middle of an amazing city. It has everything you could want.Cooking, Chillin and privacy if you need.and you can smoke anywhere if you want.
anyway Im just being probably being too nice because they gave me a bowl of maoams. I dont normally bother to do reviews but this place is excellent.If you want a good time then go.

This place was great! beautiful location, super smoker friendly and really laid back . . Nice if you have a large group of friends with a clean private place to stay.

Nice place. Great location. No sign to know if you're at the right place. We were not informed that you need to call the managers to be let in and were left waiting for a while.
