It was very good. Don't be excited with breakfast though, the description is misleading - when you read cheese your should expect cream chesse and when you read ham you should expect nothing. The kitchen is good to be used , the bathroom inside the room is cleaned regurlarly. By the price you pay it is an excellent option. The location is good and staff is friendly and helpful.

Hello, thanks for commwent. however, I would like to correct something. We dont offer HAM but we offer JAM. I think you misread it by chance. In addition to this, you know here is Turkey and except bodrum is almost impossible to see pork products. As a result of this, we also dont offer and never offered HAM

This is a no-frills hostel just a short walking distance from the main tourist area around Hagia Sophia. The staff are very friendly, and rooms and all facilities were always kept clean. There's a good kitchen downstairs with a common room and outside garden. The wifi is excellent, although you have to be downstairs near the antenna for best speeds. There's a good breakfast included, and plenty of reasonably cheap cafes and restaurants in the nearby streets. Overall, an excellent budget option.

The hostel is close to plenty of major sites but down a slightly obscure back street. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were good and place was tidy but the layout, with common rooms away from the entry, meant that it wasn't as social as some hostels.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. For your generosity especially on that first day when we arrived lost and wet from a rainy Istanbul. Thank you for making us feel so at home and for inviting us to join in your lovely lunch. Your kindness made our day! Istanbul is in our hearts and it was definitely partly becsuse of you, we will certainly be back. In Sofia now, and we already miss Istanbul. Good luck with everything! Georgia

Very friendly staff and quiet but central location, clean rooms and kitchen. However, our dorm had no heating.

It's a safe and tidy place, a little hard to find. Better follow the instructions given by the hostel or you might take some time to find the place. The neighbourhood isn't crowded at all. No comparison to Beyoğlu and the Taksim area or maybe Kadıköy at night. Nevertheless there are some small shops and restaurants around and the sights of the old city are really close. Our room was cleaned daily, breakfast was good. The staff was always friendly and helpfull. Definitly a good value for money!

Generally I was satisfied with my stay at hostel. A bit hard to find at first, but close to main attractions, friendly and helpful staff. Really recommend.

we stayed 5 nights at starlet hostel and would definitely recommend it ! very good value for money (fridge in the room, private bathroom, breakfast included, free access to computer...), good advice for trustworthy restaurants nearby (not so easy to find with a tourist face!) and within walking distance of every touristic place in Sultanamet ! very friendly staff ! we enjoyed talking with smiling Said about culture and language ! if we come back to istanbul, we would definitely go back there.

The hostel is amazingly well located, surrounded by lively streets full of restaurants, bars, shops... just five minutes walk from Cemberlitas metro station and ten minutes from Sultanahmet. We rented a double room and it was absolutely fantastic, with a comfy double bed, sofa, tv...and bathroom inside. Downstairs there is a kitchen and a living room with tv and a computer with internet connection. Staff are all friend and very helpful, specially Sajid who was really nice with us all the time.

Thte staff are really nice and ready to help, they even helped me take the heavy luggage when leaving. i appreciated much there politeness and respect. there are two young staff working 24 hours in a roll , so to tell you that you're in security. the area is near and very calm, no noise from outside it's near the touristic resorts : Sultanahmed is 15 minutes from there. Just one problem it's a bit hard to find, but they are wiling to come and guide you if you're stuck. The owner is also helpfull

The hostel was hood enough, i think. I and my friends didn't hava any problem. The beds were comfy and they have also large rooms with privste bathrooms. Wifi was working well especially in the garden and lobby. It was so fast. The location of hostel is great actually. We didnt have any problem to find it. We followed the directions on the website and it was all. It is also close to main touristic places.i guess it takes like 10 minutes by walk.not more. The guys on desk were helpful also
