The best location for a hostel in Cologne I would say, literally round the corner from the Dom and main areas. Bed was fairly comfortable. Little mix up with beds but that was resolved very efficiently. I think in the 4 bed mixed dorm there should be lockers in the rooms, I think there is enough space instead out on the corridors. The shower was very poor, but the room and bathroom was clean.

The location of this hostel was perfect! It was right next to the massive cathedral, so you always know what direction to head in when exploring the city. The rooms weren't overcrowded, and you got your own single bed which was a lovely change from bunk beds. You also have the option of cooking your own food in their sufficient kitchen. In particular, I thought the seperation of smoking and non-smoking rooms was great too!

Great location, very central, though the hostel itself was basic and lacked a bit of character. Lockers are in the hallways outside the rooms, I probably would have preferred them to be in the rooms. Staff were helpful. Good breakfast selection, you pay for each item but prices are cheap, perhaps worth combining with supermarket items. The rooms were spatious and no bunk beds! Overall a good stay.

Good location. Provide excellent tips on foods, things to do, etc. It has computer and free wifi at common area. The bathroom and toilet is clean. Booked into a 5 bed mixed dorm, room is spacious and it is single bed instead of bunk bed! There are lockers outside the room but it is a bit too narrow for my backpack. Oh, you need to get the pots from the reception if you want to cook and return it after cooking.

liked the room and bed. rare that it's a single bed and not a double-deck one. :) the location was really nice as well. That's about it though. didn't like how the lockers were outside of the room.

You cant beat this location and friendly staff. I was really impressed with the bathrooms. I liked that you could put a deposit on a hair dryer and a few other luxaries. Thanks for the cameras on the lockers and comfortable/clean beds!

Stayed in the hostel with my girlfriend for 2 nights. The location of the hostel is perfect. In a circuit of a 5 minute walk you will come to the centralstation, metro, Kölner Dom, the famous downtown with a lot of shopping opportunities, riverside. The staff is friendly and you can lend a hair dryer or a lock for 5 EUR. Didn`t try the breakfast, but you have to pay for it. Slept in the double-bed room ensuited. The facilities of it were average, but the facilities on the floor are amazing.

Very good place. The location is ideal. I had a superb, spacious and peaceful single room. The common toilets and shower rooms were very good and they looked recently renovated. There were couple of lounge areas and a spacious guest kitchen. You could buy breakfast, coffee, drinks and snacks from the bar. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. You could also use washing machine and a dryer. WiFi worked well at least in the first two floors. Clean and very well run hostel.

A decent place to stay in Cologne. Not the nicest hostel ever, but it is cheap, clean and you get your own bed instead of having to share bunks. Nice and close to the train station and the Dom, so pretty much everything worth seeing is within walking distance of the hostel. They also have free wifi and computers to use for free, which is a plus.

The hostel was good, with free Internet (and computers!) all the time and a nice and cheap breakfast, where you pay what you eat. The bathrooms are a little small, but yeah..it's an hostel! when you chose one of the cheaper ones and you find out it's good, you just like it.

Cool hostel close to the train station and the centre of town. Clean and I liked the fact that they didn´t have bunk beds :) ... Rooms were comfortable and we had access to the wifi in the room. The kitchen was lacking a lot of things for cooking, we got by but you wouldn´t be able to cook anything above very basic. Overall excellent hostel.

They have the best staffs in the world. They are so interesting and always make me laugh! Hi Mr.Bear, I hope you still remember me. I love the bathroom which is big enough with great facilities and hot water runs well. Rooms are designed well. wifi only covers the lobby and the kitchen. The hostel is in a great location, 3 minutes walk to train station and the Cathedral of Cologne and other sightseeing. The only thing drives me crazy is that we lived in the third floor and without a lift!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Koln!!! The shared bathrooms are very clean as well as the room. The staff was friendly and helpful! Unfortunately our neighbours were quite noisy in the morning... The best thing about this hostel is its location!!! Hundreds of meters from the cathedral! I would advice it to any one!

The hostel is close to the train station. The rooms are OK, they have private bathrooms. The problem is that the lockers are outside from the rooms, not so good. The staff is not very friendly. I didn't like, they dont respect the sleepy time (very noisy), and people from other rooms entered in my room (not safe). I not recommend this hostel, you can find another better for the same price.
