We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay as much as you would have liked and we have taken your comments on board. We noted that you thought your bedroom was nice and clean but the communal areas were not. The kitchen and the common room get thoroughly cleaned once a day. Other than this, as we are a hostel, it is the guests responsibility to clean up after themselves. We feel that £25 per person for a double room is in line with the prices other hostels in the area charge. Most of these hostels do not include breakfast instead there is an extra charge for it. These breakfasts are along the lines of the one that we include. Again, being a hostel, we do not offer a cooked breakfast although guests are welcome to cook anything they wish in the communal kitchen. We have amended our listing on Hostelworld to state that it is a basic breakfast that is included. On the evening of your stay Ewan built a bonfire for everyone to enjoy and spent the evening out there in the company of several guests. He was available until about 2330 for any questions that anyone had. We would like to thank you for your feedback, we take it seriously and we hope we have addressed your points here.
